In the process of my study, I increasingly realized the differences of space forms in landscape painting between the Five Dynasties and the Song Dynasty. On the change process from “panoramic landscape" composition of the five dynasties and northern song dynasty to the marginal consciousness of landscape space of southern song dynasty, “Buildings on a Mountainside†painted by Xiao Zhao indicates some features. Because of the particularity of the map, this paper focuses on spatial evolution of landscape painting in the change process. The panoramic landscape painting form, which is obviously reflected in the paintings of artist Jing Hao in the Five Dynasties, has become the mainstream pattern in the early northern song dynasty. It is evident that the “panoramic landscape†composition patterns are the mainstream of the creating mode. However, the creation of the marginal consciousness of landscape space has replaced the panoramic composition in the southern song dynasty, which is the most popular creating mode in the southern song dynasty. The releasing of the development is the key problem of the understanding of the evolution of northern and southern Song dynasties landscape painting. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | The northern and southern Song dynasties, Landscape painting, Space, Evolution | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
