The Research On Chinese Local Opera Ethics Function

Chinese local opera is the way the public express themselves,becoming the important carrier of national culture spirit with his unique way of passing on the national ethical spirit.This article aims to explore the development and national ethic spirit of local operas in China as well as the trend and direction of this spirit when the social environment changes.The whole text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is prolegomena,mainly explaining the intention and significance of this paper,the current state of the topic and its logical thoughts and research methods.The second chapter analyzes the formation and significance of Chinese local opera ethics.Local opera ethical spirits embodied in many aspects of folk life.Its ethics thoughts not only came from the basic ethical norms of Chinese traditional Confucianism,also from the local folk habits.There is a powerful way of speaking to the traditional "human relationships".The functions of opera on the whole reflected the unity of secular concern and the spiritual transcendence.Local opera is essentially different from the pure religious preaching,political propaganda and moral enlightenment.The whole moral functions of the local opera show that entertainment and cognition adjust customs,communication and cultivation complete morality.The third chapter mainly reveals the moral implication of Chinese local operas.Chinese local opera,as a representative of the bottom life of emotional expression,has its own value of life,meeting the common needs of the whole society and the individual psychological needs.Local operas fuse and resolve people's life,which is the best word of traditional wedding,regional customs ethics and reflects people's folk psychology,reflecting certain parts of the human feelings,mentality,personality tendency,so we can take a furtive glance at local cultural characters and aesthetic tendency.Meanwhile,as the carrier of social moral,local opera makes a big difference to building an ethical culture,improving the social morality.While appreciating the dramas,people will be unconsciously into the complicated plot,and internalize ethical and moral rules into their own personal principles.The fourth chapter illustrates the seeking for truth,goodness and beauty in Chinese local operas.China is an ethical society;the basic type of Chinese culture is ethical culture.It is the local opera's social point to create more operas full of local color on the basis of real life,contain life in art and bring a stronger aesthetic perception and education.Goodness is the basis of the truth and beauty;local opera writings are often filled with a lot of the content of the "goodness",whose moral connotation is more broadly than orthodox Confucian moral concept,but the basic purpose is to emphasize the good and the evil,urging the world to be good.The fifth chapter analyzes the ethical conflicts between Chinese local operas and modern civilization.The conflict between social structure changes and development of drama is mainly in the impact which social structure changes,media transition and morality changes have on the local opera.Objectively speaking,most ecological environment of the local opera is dissatisfying,the traditional inheritance ways cannot meet the needs of the contemporary inheritance,so multiple inheritance means of intervention is badly needed.We should analyze the predicament of development the local opera faces in the contemporary society,and then find a correct development way by combining with its own characteristics of local opera.The sixth chapter proposes the ethical approaches to revitalize local operas in China.Nowadays,the dilemma of Chinese local opera inheritance and development is noticeable.Local opera is experiencing the double pain of "rupture and choice" in the impact,extrusion,coercion and dilemma of the embarrassing by urban culture,embodying the desire of people in the declining of traditional moral struggling with "local complex".In addition,the spirit link for traditional local opera artists group is changed,the updates of modern factors and enlightenment function of traditional dramas ethic have new mutation.All of these force us to find the coherence point of ancient drama theme and contemporary society urgently,so we can shorten the distance of classic and times.With modern style and transmitting the spirit of traditional culture,the classical repertoire and era simultaneous resonance exerting greater influence.The basic way to solve is:on the one hand,local opera looks for the possible traditional survival ways actively;on the other hand,combined traditional art forms with technology of mass culture,getting a new life with new combination of aesthetic culture needs.Specifically speaking,first of all,local opera needs to reform the patterns boldly,secondly,local opera should highlight the ethical characteristics to adapt the social requirements,and finally we should revive local opera to promote the prosperity of social culture.
