Marxism as the guiding ideology of Chinese education,influences deeply the content and path choice of basic theory of education.However,due to the impact of the mistakes in the history on Marx's doctrine and dogmatism,the research on basic theory of education has the deficiency of historical consciousness in the process of applying and understanding Marxism.This deficiency is reflected in that we don't understand and comprehend Marxism in the history of human thoughts.This misreading of Marxism is reflected in the use of it.The research of the basic theory of traditional education often applies Marxism in the thinking level of Pre-marxist or even Naive Materialism.The lack of historical consciousness needs a historical perspective to truly show the mechanism of its problems.This is why this study explores Marxism tradition based on the perspective of the history of pedagogy.The theoretical character of Marx's theory keeping pace with the times also determines that only in the process of development can this tradition support basic theories of education.Based on the rational connotation of Marx's development and the characteristics of the basic theory of education,the Marxist tradition of the basic theory of education embodies in the conversion of related subject discourse of both the major educational policies and the academic characterization of institutionalization,and the change of both the great practice and the research paradigm.At the same time,the basic educational theory and Marxism cannot be simply understood as the composition of different branches of science,the common transdisciplinary consciousness of which determines that the development of Marxist tradition of the basic educational theory cannot be a manifestation of empirical history,but the development of mode of thinking in the process of applying Marxism.The Marxist tradition,which is dominated by the way of thinking,whose role is still a continuous reflection of epistemology in the study of the basic educational theory.Through combing the development of Marxism in the practice of Chinese education and the progress in the research of basic educational theories,it can be found that in the process of educational development in China,Marxism combines with Chinese reality and forms a tradition of nationalization,scientization and popularization in practice.Experiencing the practical reform from surviving the country to reform and opening up,this tradition practices Marxism from a certain salvation trend of thought and the experience of perceptual knowledge and practice in the early days to the pursuit of the spirit of the times and the system of independent education.In view of the study of Marxism based on the basic educational theory in the new period,it forms the tradition of the study of Marxism based on practice which centers on the further development of theory and practice.Above all,this study regards Educational Research and Chinese Educational Journal as the main line of analysis,referring to relevant authoritative periodicals and works,and focuses on combing the development of Marxist tradition of the basic educational theory in China.By summing up,it is found that the understanding and application of Marxism gradually surpass the thinking mode of experience intuition under the orientation of Natural Science,so the dialectical theoretical thinking based on the history of practice has been gradually formed.Only in this dialectical thinking full of historical consciousness,can education be truly understood as the result of the development of practical history in the study of basic educational theory,and can we achieve the purpose of understanding problems in practice.In the process of applying Marxism,The theoretical thinking of history is concretely embodied in the way of daily cultural criticism.Through the change of thinking,it can be found that the historical consciousness to practice is the theoretical appeal of the development of Marxism tradition.Just as the 19 th congress of party stresses “Time is the mother of theory,practice is the resourse of theory”,educational foundamental theory should surpass native materialism in the future development.In the history of educational practice,we deeply comprehend the spirit of the times and focus on the consciousness of the problem.It is the inner necessity for the development of the basic educational theory under the historical orientation of the new era.
