With the rapid development of science and continuous specialization of social labors,practical rationalism which sets the pursuit of nature as central logic,emphasizes the over-control and manipulation of human social life.In one area,post-industrialization creates tremendous materialistic wealth.Development of technology is day in and day out,making people feel the individual benefit stemming from technology.In another area,meanwhile,dooming crisis upholds and dwells over human.The rich of material equips human life with convenience,but also erodes the existence of human,and dissolves the mind relentlessly.A partial focus on high efficiency and convenient practical rationalism eliminates the "man" from nature,society and each other,making the "man" an alienated partial man.Inevitably,it causes the fall of a spiritual world.Abundance of materialism forces human to be liberated from the needs to "protect" the species.However,it also draws human's extra attention to the consideration of the construction of spiritual world.Faced with the "unbearable lightness of life" caused by post-industrial social alienation.People ask for a return of humanism to the poet's dwelling place,search for an outlet of the crisis of modern spiritual context,and try to reconstruct the"ideal world".Influenced by instrumental rationality,arrested by utilitarianism,physical education is skilled and performed.PE is treated as body movement of pure technique,and viewed as regularized system of movements non-humanly.PE curriculum is viewed as relying on sports and includes teaching and training.PE teaching was treated as fitness dominated,and be separated into movement by movement,exercise by exercise and lesson by lesson.Under this circumstance,PE is eliminated from the training in close relation to soul.The spiritual value which should stand shoulder to shoulder with PE is neglected,and the deep content of spirit is shadowed.The spirit of sport is left into the corners and far and far away from the idea of "whole man" education.It is in a subject crisis deeply.Due to this fact,to investigate spirit-related PE is of great value and practical meaning.From the start to the end,this paper focused on the topic of "sports spirit".It can be separated into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction.This session illustrates the reason and meaning of this research through the talk over the modern spiritual conflict,education crisis and reflection over contemporary modernization.Then,it discusses the investigations of the related topics both from China and abroad.And it determines the methodology in this session.The second chapter is historical analysis.Sports spirit exists in history and society.With the development of PE,through a long time of accumulation,it grows into its domain with full energy.In this chapter,through the analysis of sports spirit,it reveals the connections in between the western and the eastern,and the differences.It also argues "why it arouses" and "why it changes".The third chapter talks about the essence and value of sports spirit.It investigate the sociality,historic,International and national characteristic of sports spirit.And through moral values,aesthetic value,development value,social value and the value of four aspects of the development of the value of sporting spirit.The last chapter talks about the strategies.In this chapter,through investigation and analysis of the practical problems of educational practice,starting with the wrong values,ethical misconduct and the public misled combine three examples illustrate the reality of alienation sporting spirit and its causes;Secondly,more profoundly reveals the realities of the spirit of sport education deficiency,in-depth analysis of the causes of this situation causes;Philosophical Insight aims to solve practical problems,thus clarified the spirit of sport from three practical purposes,practices and practical ways.
