With the acceleration of pace of life and the increase of stress of life, people's unhealthy behavior is becoming more and more serious, resulting in the increase of sub-health population, and the health problems people are facing are getting more and more serious, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar and other chronic diseases are becoming increasingly widespread and are happening to people at younger age.Changing unhealthy behavior can reduce the risk of disease and can achieve the purpose of preventing and controlling disease so as to extend the life of individuals overall.Previous studies have shown that targeted information intervention on individual health behavior is a promising method for health behavior intervention. However, the specific mechanism and process of information behavior in the process of changing health behavior is still not very clear,so it is necessary to study and analyze the information behavior in the process of changing health behavior.Studies on how the individual behavior effectively influence the health behavior change and inspire people's enthusiasm in self-health management are to be unfolded in-depth.Individual differences lead to different levels of individual information, including information needs, and differences in information search, identification and use, etc. Therefore,it is necessary to carry out information behavior intervention according to individual characteristics,so as to better promote health behavior change.Based on the trans-theoretical model theory that is mainly applied to health behavior change, the population is divided into pre-consciousness stage, consciousness stage, preparation stage, behavior stage and maintenance stage according to health behavior change status. At the mean time analyzing the information behavior characteristics at different change stages and the related psychological and behavioral factors influencing health behavior change(including self-efficacy,the change process, etc.)can specifically intervene the information behavior of health behavior change for the crowd at related stages and can promote the process of individual changes(cognitive and behavioral processes),so as to improve self-efficiency and achieve the purpose of promoting health behavior change. At present, there are unhealthy behaviors of undergraduates in China, such as not eating breakfast, increasing the hidden dangers of suffering from chronic diseases and severe diseases after adult. In our research,we combine the study of the healthy behavior and information behavior of undergraduates in real life.By employing the literature survey and experiment verifying method, the research analyzes the information behavior's influences on health behavior change and the characteristics of information behavior factors at different change stages to provide further evidence for intervention of information behavior and thus to promote the changes of undergraduates' healthy behavior. Objective:To construct theoretical model of information behavior's impact on health behavior change through the theoretical analysis on the related factors of information behavior on the impact of health behavior change and to validate and modify the model through empirical research;to clarify undergraduates' information behavior's impact on health behavior change in each stage,to analyze the characteristics and related factors of information behavior in different stages of health behavior change,to make sure the undergraduates' information behavior differences between different stages and design intervention plan accordingly, and to intervene and assess the information behavior at different stage so as to prove the validity of the model.Method:This research mainly involves the following methods: literature survey, questionnaire survey, data statistics analysis, experiment, and expert consultation, etc.By using the method of literature survey to analyze the relevant literature and theory at home and abroad, this paper puts forward the research hypothesis of this study and constructs the theoretical model of information behavior's impact on health behavior change.Investigate the information behavior's influence on health behavior change and the characteristics of information behavior in the process of health behavior change by applying questionnaire survey. The design of the questionnaire is mainly based on the trans-theoretical model theory, referring to foreign existing scale and is modified according to our country's cultural background.Data analysis statistical approach was used to statistically analyze the collected data. All scales' scores are compared for the mean by applying test and variance analysis, and LSD method is carried out for pairwise comparison at different stages;the correlation among the scales is analyzed by linear correlation and AMOS22.0 software is used for path analysis;Multiple Linear Regression is adopted to analyze the information demand, information acquisition, information evaluation and differences of utilizing different dimensions at different change stages;descriptive statistics and paired t test is adopted to compare before and after the use of self-efficacy intervention on the trans-theoretical model group;the paired Wilcoxon rank test is adopted at the stages before and after the intervention for comparison;two independent samples Mann-Whitney U test is adopted to compare the differences between the trans-theoretical model intervention group and the information behavior intervention group before and after the intervention.Experimental methods used: in the intervention experiment of information behavior specifically on health behavior change,133 college students who have the behavior of not eating breakfast are set as the intervention object, and they are divided by their change stage by using linear discriminant function of Fisherde. When we product the research of the information behavior of the five change stages, the differences has not statistical significance, which is not conductive to intervention research. Therefore, five stages of the trans-theoretical model are incorporated into three stages: non-intention stage(the pre-conscious stage),intention stage(the conscious stage and the preparation stage);behavior stage(the behavior and the maintenance stages). At each stage people are divided into three groups, natural group,trans-theoretical model intervention group, and information behavior group.Corresponding intervention methods are adopted for different groups of each stage,in which the natural group has no intervention;trans-theoretical group adopts the trans-theoretical model related interventions;the information behavior group mainly adopts information behavior intervention based on the trans-theoretical model intervention; After the intervention respectively, the effect has been analyzed, and the effect of intervention has been evaluated by the change of numbers in the behavior change stage and the change of self-efficacy.Results:1.According to the trans-theoretical model theory, referring to the foreign existing scales and combining with the cultural background of China, the following four subscales have been formed: the change stage scale, the change process scale, the self-efficacy scale, and the decision-making balance scale.According to the concept and related model of information behavior, the information behavior questionnaire has been made.Through questionnaire survey and data analysis, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire are good.2.Questionnaires have been given to the objects. The whole set of questionnaire include the change stage, the change process, the self-efficacy,the decision-making balance and the information behavior questionnaire.A total of 920 questionnaires have been sent out,and valid questionnaires accounts for 850 excluding the invalid questionnaires.Through investigation on the impact of information behavior on health behavior change,by using linear discriminant function of Fisherde to classify the change stages, and by adopting AMOS22.0 software to carry out the path analysis on the information behavior's impact on health behavior, the conclusion is that information behavior can directly or indirectly affect health behavior change through the following ways:(1)information behavior has indirect effect on the change stage through self-efficacy(CR=5.113,P<0.05,CR=5.111,P<0.05),the medium intensity is 33.6%.(2)the information behavior has indirect effects on the change stages through the change process(CR=6.801,P<0.05;CR=2.341,P<0.05),the medium intensity is 14.5%.(3)The information behavior has indirect effect on the change stage through the change process and self-efficacy(CR=6.801,P<0.05;CR=8.421,P<0.05;CR=5.111,P<0.05),the medium intensity is 50.7%.(4)The information behavior taking decisional balance and self-efficacy as the medium has indirect effect on the change stage(CR=1.920,P>0.05;CR=4.424,P<0.05;CR=5.111,P<0.05),the medium intensity is 0%,which is that information behavior cannot influence the change stage through the decisional balance and self-efficacy.3.By comparing and analyzing the information behavior of each stage, the result shows:(1)In the non-intention stage, the motives for searching health information and the types of health information needs in information needs dimensions are the weakest compared with other stages, which has statistical significance(P<0.05),others have no statistical significance;channels for obtaining accurate health information and in the regard of authoritative health website awareness in the information obtaining dimension are the weakest compared with other stages, which has statistical significance(P < 0.05),other have no statistical significance;understanding of the obtained health information and in the regard of novelty requirements of the obtained health information in the information utilization and evaluation dimension are the weakest compared with other stages, which has statistical significance(P<0.05),others have no statistical significance.(2)In the intention stage, the types of health information needs in information needs dimensions are the weaker than the behavior stage, which has statistical significance(P<0.05),others have no statistical significance;obtaining health information unclear by correctly using internet websites in the information obtaining dimension is weaker than the behavior stage, which has statistical significance(P<0.05),others have no statistical significance;understanding of the obtained health information in the information utilization and evaluation dimension is weaker than other stages, which has statistical significance(P<0.05),others have no statistical significance.(3)In the behavior stage, the motives for searching health information and the types of health information needs in information needs dimensions, channels for obtaining accurate health information and in the regard of authoritative health website awareness in the information obtaining dimension and understanding of the obtained health information in the information utilization and evaluation dimension are all better than the non-intention stage and intention stage, and the differences have statistical significance(P<0.05).4.The improvement of information behavior intervention group in the change stage is better than that of the trans-theoretical model intervention, and the effect is significant(P<0.05).Information behavior intervention group self-efficacy of health behavior change in the non-intention stage, the intention stage and behavior stage is better than that of the trans-theoretical model intervention group, and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05),the effect is good. There is no change in the natural group due to no intervention.Conclusion:1.The model of undergraduates' information behavior's impact on health behavior is constructed, which through the empirical validation the mode is proved to be effective and can be used in related theoretical research and practice of information behavior and health behavior change.2.Undergraduates' information behavior has an effect on health behavior change.Through the mediums such as change process and self-efficacy,information behavior can indirectly affect health behavior change,in which information behavior has the highest influence on change stage through the change process and self-efficacy,which accelerates the evolution of the current stage to the next stage.3.There are different degrees of difference among different change stage of information behavior. These differences appear in three different dimensions of information behavior: information needs, information acquisition, information utilization and evaluation.Behavioral interventions based on these differences can increase the relevance of interventions.
