Based on the perspective of ideological and political education of higher institutes, this dissertation further explores the relevant theories and realistic issues of probity consciousness education of college students through the scientific empirical analysis and the theoretical research.It also puts forward the targeted ameliorated suggestions. In the part of theoretical research, this dissertation firstly defines the mission of the probity consciousness education, namely a teaching activity in which educators, in accordance with the educational rules and the historical cultural tradition as well as the demands of the development of times, make the probity consciousness an intrinsic need of the college students to promote their moral quality and ability. Then, it distinguishes the probity consciousness education with other resembling notions. Compared with the connotation, "honesty and integrity",it is not restricted in the cultivation of the individual personality,its researching perspective, compared with "probity consciousness education",focuses on the spirit awareness, and with regard to the improvement of the honest social development, it is different from "honest cultures". This dissertation analyzes the particular relationship between the honest awareness education and the ideological and political education. Both not only have the same goal and the same-dimensional orientation, in the aspects of the routes of educational realization, education contents, educational means, education objects and education purposes and etc.This dissertation clarifies the theoretical resources and practical experience of Integrity Education, digging out a variety of valuable material for college students' probity consciousness education. The thought of Marxist classic writers is the ideological guide of contemporary Chinese probity consciousness education, which embodies the practice of probity consciousness education of the Communist Party of China, and provides theoretical support and practical inspiration for the probity education in the new era. China's outstanding traditional culture in the integrity of education resources is also very abundant in ancient China. The implementation of an important measure of honest education is still conducive to the construction of honest society, providing a spiritual nourishment and practice model for pure students of personal cultivation and integrity education. It is worth learning the theoretical and practical experience in the probity consciousness education of college students in western countries in the process of educating college students to be honest currently.In the part of the empirical analysis, this dissertation diagnoses the cognition status of honest,the consciousness and the attitudes, the position and behavior choice of the current college students through the questionnaire survey and the current situation of college students' honest education, student satisfaction and the diverse effects of different education methods. Through the diversified empirical analysis from the perspective of natural factors, family background and educational environment, this dissertation investigates the problems and possible causes during the college students' honest education and emphatically demonstrates that the ideological and political education carried out in colleges and universities has a positive impact on cultivating college students' honest consciousness. Through the method of model construction, the structural equation model of college students' probity consciousness education is constructed, and the interaction between "educational path-consciousness and cognition-attitude and behavior" is presented.After a basic introduction to the framework of college students' probity consciousness education, this dissertation further analyzes the goal of the education system, basic principles,main characteristics, structural systems, the development channels, etc. Probity consciousness education aims at guiding students to serve the public, to behave with probity and self-discipline,to love their country and devote to work and enhancing their psychological quality increasingly,specifically helping their cognition, emotion, conscience and behavior in line with honesty. The education of college students' honesty should follow the basic principles including the combination of theory and practice, demonstrations and warnings, education and cultivating, as well as inheritance and innovation. Meanwhile, the main features should be observed and guided,such as a proper mastery of the proactive nature of education, the pertinence of the education objects, the systematicity of the educational content, the infiltration of education and the delay of educational effect evaluation. The structural system of college students' honest education mainly includes: the executive subjects composed of university educators, university instructors and university leaders; educational objects composed of college students at all levels; educational media such as the teaching platform, the campus culture platform and the network communication platform; the educational environment such as the family environment and the social environment.On the basis of theoretical and empirical research, this dissertation puts forward the rationalization path for improving the college students' probity consciousness. In view of the isomorphism and coupling relationship between probity consciousness education and ideological and political education, this dissertation proposes to integrate honest education into the whole process of ideological and political education. It is better to carry out honest education in the ideological and political theory courses, every-day ideological and political education and teaching management in colleges and universities. It also suggests that we should continue to improve the path of college students' probity consciousness education, to integrate the power of educational organization, to play the leading role of college organizations, the basic role of family organization and the influence of social organizations. We should improve the education content system and strengthen the Marxist theory, ideals and beliefs, ideological and moral education,clean laws and regulations, integrity culture and other educational content. Besides, we should add task-based education, emotional education, cultural education, science and technology education,warning education and other educational methods into our education. Furthermore,we should optimize the education environment of macro, meso and micro levels and recognize the international situation to build an honest society and to create a good work style. In the last, we should enhance the application of the organization carrier, network carrier and cultural carrier.
