University students are builders and successors of the complete accomplishment of a well-off society and a modernized socialist country, carrying on the destiny of achieving the great renaissance of Chinese nation. Their probity and attitude toward corruption will determine whether they could hold their honesty, resist various seducements and do their job right when they are in work and power after their graduation. The phenomena of corruption have obtained the high emphasis of our Party and country, and some measurements have been carried out. Among which, education is an important one. Our country emphasized the anti-corruption education on government officials, yet ignored the education on ordinary masses. It is under this background that the anti-corruption education on university students is put forward. Besides, news about corruptionists of lower age and higher education background has been reported regularly in life. Therefore, it admits no delay to improve the university students’ anti-corruption education, aiming to lead them to treat corruption rightly, to popularize the knowledge of probity, to form a righteous attitude toward probity, and finally, by enhancing the cognitive ability, to obtain the probity quality. Meeting the need of the present five development concept and the improvement of political education content, university students’ probity education has a positive influence on the construction of uncorrupted university. Emphasizing on survey method and documentation method, this paper analyzes the present situation of university students’ probity education, existed specific problems and the causes of the problems based on university students of one area in Jiangsu province, and proposes solutions to the problems according to the real situation.This paper is divided into four parts. Part one is the exordium, introducing the background information, the significance of the chosen topic, the research situation of the topic home and abroad, the thinking way, the research method and the innovation. The innovation lies in the research method, the empirical study, and the research data, which are collected in October,2015 and therefore, comparatively new. Part two is the summary of probity education. First of all, the relative concept is introduced, such as probity, incorrupt government, and university students’ probity education. Secondly, the theoretical foundation of probity education and of the political Marxism education are presented, including the probity ideas of Max, Engels, Lenin, and the successive leaders of the Party. Thirdly, the significance of university students’ probity education is introduced. Part three is the present situation research and analysis of university students’ probity education. Based on the questionnaire survey, the accomplishment of university students’ probity education in this area is obtained, while some problems are found. The reasons why these problems exist are analyzed from three aspects:firstly, not enough acknowledgement of the probity education of university students; secondly, lack of coordination with other forces outside of universities; thirdly, outside influence. Part four is to propose solutions to the existed problems. Some solutions are proposed according to the problems found in the probity education of the university students from four aspects. One is to emphasize more on the aim of probity education. Two is to perfect the content of probity education. Three is to broaden the ways of probity education and four is to improve the relative system of probity education.
