Factors Affecting The Listing Of Our National Educational Institutions And Countermeasures

With the development of economy and society and the diversified educational requirements from urban and rural residents,private educational institutions in China are playing more and more important roles which has formed multi-level,multi-type and diversified educational systemscovering from pre-primary education to higher education,and from non-academic education to academic education.Thanks to such a good opportunity and environment,private educational institutions in China has developed rapidly.However,the lack of funds is greatly preventing private educational institutions in China from growing even stronger and larger.As an effective financing channel,well-developing companies in the rest of the economy prefer to go public.Unfortunately,few private educational institutions in China succeed financing by listing.For such a situation,this paper analyses the factors that influenceprivate educational institutions in China listing and financing scientifically and objectively,further,corresponding countermeasures which can promoteprivate educational institutions in China listing and financing are demonstrated pertinently.Firstly,this paper reviews several relevant concepts and current research from home and abroad on several key issues ralated to the listing and financing of private educational institutions,such as the significance of investment in education,financing modes,the profitability ofeducation and financing risks,which lays an important foundation for the further in-depth study of this paper.Secondly,this paper studies the listing status of education institutions at home and abroad,which is the premise of studying the influence factors of education institutions in China.Afterwards,the listing and financing status of private educational institutions in China and America are analyzed respectively,and the successful experiences are summarized.The living examples indicate that going public can help to offer enough finance for private educational institutions in China,and listed private educational institutionshave rapidly developedutilizing the financing.That is,going public is actually effective on financing for private educational institutions in China.It is also indicated that private educational institutions in China do have urgent and realisticdemandin listing and financing.The successful cases of the joint between private educational institutions in America and Capital Market and the following listing and financing offer us lots of valuableexperience,and the confidence of solving the listing and financing problem of private educational institutions in China is increased as well.Based on the qualitative analysis on the impact factors,three models,i.e.,SEM,AHP,DEMATEL and ISM are utilized to make quantitative analysis on the key factors that impact the listing and financing of private educational institutions in China,from the outside to the inside,from simple to profound and from surface to essence.That is,AHP helps to make pairwise comparison on the significance of impact factors.The weight of each factor is established such that the most significance one can be determined.Providing the analysis of interrelationship and influential intensity among the factors,DEMATEL help us to find the key impact factor with the strongest influential intensity.Moreover,ISM method is subsequently conduct to make a hierarchy analysis on all the factors,bring us the one on the highest level.In the end,aiming at these key factors,combined with current situation of listing and financing of private educational institutions in China,by fully utilizing the advantages and opportunities of listing and financing of private educational institutions in China,learning successful experience of listing and financing from private educational institutions in America,the countermeasures on promoting the listing and financing of private educational institutions in China such as expanding the scale of running schools of private educational institutions,improving education quality of private educational institutions and perfecting relevant laws are proposed.
