Elementary and secondary school students' “After-school classes”refers to the additional studies apart from the elementary and secondary school conventional education,in order to improve the academic achievement and development in specialty,that the curriculum resources have been purchased in the form of private contributions outside of formal school and the various kinds of supplementary education activities have been participated in.It can be said that the education form which have the nature of after-school classes has been in development for more than thirty years since the beginning of the 1980 s and 1990 s.This phenomenon is not unique to China.In other countries,after-school tutoring activities have also been developed.It is only for a long time that the situation of Chinese elementary and secondary school students attending after-school classes has become more and more fiercely and intensively.A number of surveys across the country have combined to show that almost 70% of families in China have chosen at least one class or subject class for their children.Therefore,the after-school class is a very common education phenomenon.Most studies,however,focus on the causes and problems of after-school classes and have a lack of digging into the deep social problems that lie behind their confusion.Moreover,current national policies tend to be dominated by “forbidden” but it didn't work well.This makes parents,students,schools,after-school classes,and governments all conflicted between each other.Besides,the diversity and concealment of the after-school classes are not easy to be supervised and controlled,this leads to a lack of depth in their specification and governance.The existence and development of after-school classes affect the education,social family and online media,therefore,it is of practical significance and social value to carry out comprehensive research on the problem of after-school class.This study the series of problem of after-school classes by using the methods such as literature analysis,questionnaire and interview methods,ect.By collecting and sorting of the existing research results and data,I have an overall understanding of the research status of after-school classes,and it has laid a theoretical basis for my study.By organizing the researchers to boost a nationwide sampling survey of a large number of families and after-school classes using questionnaire investigation and interview method,I have finished a baseline investigation and preliminary analysis of the general situation of elementary and secondary school students' participation of after-school class.put forward new understanding and question assumptions about after-school class,and through the further observation and monitoring 30 families of after-school class participation status,I confirmed and gave explanations to the understanding and judgment before.Through organizing and presenting the plight of five different positions from parents,schools,students,operators and managers,my research has captured the fundamental problem that the class problem has not been solved properly.It is also clear that,to some extent,the existence and benign development of after-school classes are necessary and reasonable.This is the inevitable manifestation of the socialization of family education,which is also a reasonable way to share the responsibility of education.In this paper,the theoretical and practical cases of standardized management of after-school classes are put forward.The research advocated that the administrative department of education should assume the benign interaction mechanism between the family,the social forces and the school.We need to formulate the examination and approval system for after-school classes and the system of accreditation of relevant teachers with the help of targeted support and post-teacher training.So that the school and the after-school classes are going to form the education force on more levels,and to make them play the integrated roles of social cultural resources.To look at the reasonable needs of families for after-school classes rationally,and to guide parents to establish the correct concept of education and education selection.Education management should play a role of communication and coordination to promote the healthy development of after-school market,make full play of its positive role with the happy learning and healthy growth of elementary and secondary school students as a common pursuit,and become an important cultural force which is able to relieve family education stress and make the school education improved.
