The CPC Central Committee and the State Council Considering the domestic and international situations, made the major strategy decisions of speeding up "along the way" construction and "Beijing Jin JI collaborative development", which will highlight out the important location advantage of Shenyang economic zone which is located in national "five cross five longitudinal" traffic big channel, located in Northeast Asia hinterland, located in the Sino-Russian-Mongolia trilateral economic corridor traffic route and located as a exit to the sea connecting Asia-Europe channel, so Shenyang economic zone must resort to national development strategies, give traffic location advantage into full play and promote regional traffic integration development in order to provide a broader industrial developing space for undertaking transferred industry effectively and receiving high-tech radiation, and finally achieve new-type industrialization development goals by comprehensive reforming.After the reforming development of "Twelve-Five" period, Shenyang economic zone has made greater growth of national economy, The GDP is 50% more in 2014 than that in 2009. Transportation development is the prerequisite and basis for the reform and development in the areas of national economy. Through starting the modified expansion constructions of same city traffic, intercity railway, city track traffic, high-speed rail, highway, airport, port and the 1 hour traffic circle, Shenyang economic zone has created a favorable transportation conditions for regional economic integration development. Today, the Shenyang economic zone has entered the "Thirteen-Five" starting year of development planning, has entered the fast lane of economic development. In order to adapt and promote the rapid regional economic development, we had to ponder if the traffic integration construction in Shenyang economic zone has met the need of rapid economic development at the present, if there is the capacity of providing the necessary transport infrastructure and traffic management information service for economic development. Therefore, it is necessary to study integrated transport development on the current situation and the level of coordination between transport and economic development in the Shenyang economic zone. On the basis of the normative and empirical research on index data, transport integration planning and micro-phenomena of transportation and economy in Shenyang economic zone, we came to the following conclusions:First, a better traffic integration and faster economic development level evaluation has been make in Shenyang economic zone and traffic integration development has make great achievement in the rising stage of development; Second, the integrated transport efficiency has improved and been in a good operating efficiency state; Third, the coordination relationship between the traffic integration and economic development is in the early stages of coordination and there is a certain gap with quality coordination relationship; Fourth, the integrated transport system has not formed and the full role in promoting economic development has not been played.Finally, based on the empirical results, combined with the national major functional areas development strategy and the national urban development strategy, we put forward the countermeasures for speeding up traffic integration development in Shenyang economic zone:First, making full use of the Harbour, speed up the opening of Northeast region in order to strengthen regional cooperation with the nations in Northeast Asia; Second, making the airport resources integrated, build a international aviation hub in Northeast Asian; Third, Accelerating the pace of railway transport integration; Fourth, actively promoting the construction of road infrastructure integration; Fifth, focusing on promoting the construction of integrated multimodal transport corridor. Meanwhile, we put forward the countermeasures for promoting the higher coordination development between traffic integration and economic development in Shenyang economic zone:First, in the context of regional economic development strategies, further clarifying the development strategy of transport integration; Second, strengthening planning guide, preparing the integrated transport development planning adapting to the economic development. Third, Continuing to promote institutional innovation to form an integrated transportation management system; Fourth, improving investment mechanisms and developing financing sources to establish investment and financing system of traffic integration development adapting to market economy development; Fifth, speeding up the construction of intelligent traffic integration to meet the demands of modern economic development; Sixth, developing green low carbon transport integration to promote regional sustainable development in Shenyang economic zone.
