Since 2013,Chinese government has developed a number of policies, from different angles to make sure and promote farmland circulation smoothly. Some areas also take the current situation of farmland circulation, rural idle farmland scale, the condition of agricultural large-scale management into the local district government administrative inspection category,it serves to show the importance of this issue in rural area of China.Since the beginning of human society, land has always been an important factor of production, has provided material environmental conditions for human survival and development.Human also think deeply to explore the suitable model of farming and animal husbandry production. On the other hand, with the development of the city, the progress of industrialization,a large number of rural labor flow into city.In promoting urban construction at the same time, farmers find significant income differences between urban working and rural farming. The vast difference of the return on income appeal more rural labor to flow into cities, which cause severe tension on the city resources and the desolate phenomenon of rural farmland. Therefore,it has great theoretical and practical value to research on the influencing factors of agricultural land demand in the context of farmers household income. From the perspective of farmers household income, the paper, through on-the-spot investigation, studied the current land circulation conditions in the west of China, based on summarizing the current research. The paper content consists of four parts and seven chapters. The first part is to design research programs including Chapter 1 and 2,it is mainly about the proposition of the analysis of the research background, purpose, significance;the research status at home, abroad and relevant theory were concretely interpreted, and impossible impact was summarized. The second part is Chapter 3,it is the analysis on how farmers or herdsmen's income affect on land circulation, then to design the relevant questionnaire, undergoing field investigation mainly in typical farmland region and animal husbandry region such as Shaanxi,Gansu,Qinnghai,Inner Mongolia provinces etc.,in order to fully understand the concrete link between peasants income and land circulation, then made conclusive generalization of the research. The third part is Chapter 4,5 and 6,it studied the link between the farmers or herdsman income and the local land circulation in western region in China, mainly using a variety of research methods, and also analyzed the other factors(except income)that may affect the land circulation. The applied research methods mainly include cross statistical analysis, the theoretical mechanism analysis and econometric analysis methods, also used binary logit model, analyzed the impact of farmers or herdsmen income on the farmland circulation demand in Shaanxi,Gansu,Qinghai,Inner Mongolia respectively, specifically discussed how the income factor affect land circulation, also carried on concrete analysis of the different causes then lead to related conclusions. The fourth part is Chapter 7,it made a research summary overview of the paper, discussed the research results of this paper and theoretical significance of its impact on peasants land circulation, and put forward relevant solutions to the various problems arising from the farmers' land circulation,in order to give some significant guide to the theory and practice of this field. There are several main conclusions discussed.(1)The peasants or herdsmen income factor significantly affect whether they will have the demand of land circulation. In the western region, the better income factors are,the higher demand of farm land(out)circulation exists, the lower demand of farm land(in)circulation exists, the lower demand of rangeland(out)circulation exists, the higher demand of rangeland(in)circulation exists.Generally speaking, the farmers of higher income and the herdsmen of fewer income have large land(out)circulation demand and small land(in)circulation demand;and the farmers of fewer income and the herdsmen of higher income have large land(in)circulation demand and small land(out)circulation demand. It is suggested to improve the income level of western farmers and herdsmen, then explore the training mechanism of new-type professional farmers and herdsmen.(2)Differences comparison of the farmers and herdsmen income's impact on land transfer demand. It caused different impact of farmers and herdsmen income on land transfer demand, such as different natural endowment, different psychological dependence on land, land scale, different habits of working out in cities, different popularization of agriculture and animal husbandry infrastructure, different production mode and industrial returns. It is suggested to distinguish and rationalize the land transfer policy in rural areas and pastoral areas.(3)Through the survey we found that there are many farmers and herdsmen's demand of land circulation in studied area, which means that the “stay in" farmers and herdsmen in rural areas have expanded the area of cultivated land per capita, the traditional mode of agriculture production have gradually shifted to the new agriculture production way.It is suggested to accelerate the urbanization process in the west, moderate the transfer of rural labor force, and increase the investment of the basic education, and carry out special training activities for farmers and herdsmen.(4)The average income of farmers and herdsmen increases year by year, but there are still imbalance between the income quantity and quality. The improvement of income results from more inputs of land and investment, more manpower and material resources requirements, higher labor intensity.Western typical agricultural and pastoral areas have not transformed from survival agricultural mode to accumulation and investment agricultural mode.It is suggested to increase the investment in agriculture and animal husbandry in the west and accelerate the transformation of the traditional production mode of agriculture and animal husbandry.
