Since the 1990 s,profound changes have taken place in the global manufacturing industry.The business model of enterprises has also shifted from traditional product manufacturing and transaction,to the mode of providing comprehensive services and solutions.The share of services in the yield value and revenues of manufacturing companies is constantly increasing.At the same time,with the rise of digital,networked and smart technologies,the world is at the door to a new era of innovation and change,driving the shift the business model based on smart & connected products and services.At the same time,the ecological strategy has become the most competitive competitive thinking,which has broken the boundary of companies through socialization,reintegrated traditional business elements in shared economy,and completed a new competition pattern of opening,sharing and value co-creation.With the transformation to service-oriented manufacturing,the upgrading of smart connected technologies and implementation of ecological strategies,industries are moving towards building Smart Product Service Ecosystems(SPSE).However,Academia has not provided an effective theoretical support at present.Therefore,focusing on serveral key issues of smart product service ecosystem,five aspects are studied in this dissertation as follows.(1)Theoretical framework of Smart Product Service Ecosystem.Through wide-ranging gathering,ordering and analysis of related works,the status review of smart product service ecosystem is investigated.Based on the concept definations and characteristics analysis,the framework of smart product service ecosystem is proposed,intending to theoretical guidance for the transformation of enterprises to smart product service ecosystem.(2)Demand analysis for smart product service ecosystem.Starting from the definition of the boundary of smart product service ecosystem,the methods of horizontal and vertical extension of business scope and the identification of ecological value are studied.Based on the analysis of the static and dynamic structure characteristics of customer needs,a Fuzzy Cognitive Map(FCM)based method for generalized customer needs mining and an ARIMA model-based method for customer dynamic needs forecasting are developed.(3)Mechanisim analysis for smart product service ecosystem.Based on the study of internal operation mechanism of SPSE,an Eco-Viable System Model(EVSM)is developed to make a hierarchical topological analysis of ecosystem structure.The robustness of SPSE are studied based on dissipative structure theory and niche theory.The theoretical model of ecological value-adding based on emergent theory is developed.(4)Design for smart product service ecosystem.An overall design process for SPSE is proposed.The fuzzy correlatation clustering method is used for smart product hierarchical analysis.A multi-method for service flow configuration model based on service blueprint,BPMN are developed.Then,value interaction process in SPSE is analyzed based on VNA and value balance matrix.(5)Deployment for Smart product service ecosystem.Based on the analysis of the framework of smart product service delivery and operation system,the capability levels of SPSE delivery are analyzed and the method for resource virtualization is studied.Then,based on service delivery channels and coordination processes,a dynamic allocation model for service resource pool configuration is proposed.The above theoretical research is verified by two application examples of Smart Home and Intelligent Connected Vehicles(ICV)service ecosystem.The results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method and technology.The research on the theoretical system,technical methods and related solutions of SPSE originates from actual needs of the industry and will also provide some theoretical guidance and reference to the transformation of enterprises to service,network,smart and ecology-based business models.
