In each stage of coal field exploration,in order to ensure the efficiency of coal mining and reduce the potential safety hazards of mining,it is necessary to find out the structure in the mining area,mark out the location of fault and accurately describe the characteristics of fault elements.The identification and description of small faults with a drop of 3 ~ 5m has become a difficulty in the processing and interpretation of seismic data in coal fields.At present,there is no obvious effect of traditional technology on the identification of small faults.Based on the seismic attribute data,this paper elaborates the characteristics of small faults through the processing of the attribute data and adopts the information fusion method to improve the accuracy of identifying small faults in the seismic attribute part.In this paper,through the numerical simulation of small fault model,the characteristics of small fault seismic attribute are analyzed,and the factors influencing the recognition of small fault are studied.The structure-oriented filtering and ant tracking methods are used to enhance the abnormal boundary characteristics of seismic attributes and highlight the stratigraphic discontinuity(small fault).Based on the extraction of seismic multiattributes,the attributes are optimized by select the sensitive attributes for the identification of small faults.The attribute fusion method of RGB is used for the comprehensive identification of small faults and the resolution of small faults is improved.At the same time,based on the fault and coal layers in the profile,in the plane and the data volume on the relationship,the geometric elements such as fault throw,dip was deduced formula,using the method of human-computer interaction,real-time computation and programming,on the basis of preliminary work for the interpretation of a fault element from the seismic attributes,the characteristic of the fault to realize interpretation based on seismic attributes.The data processing and interpretation of measured seismic data,extraction of seismic attributes,optimization and integration of seismic attributes,identification and interpretation of faults in huaibei tongting coal mine,and actual disclosure show that interpretation accuracy of small faults is greatly improved.
