Xinzhen structural belt and transitional zone located in the central uplift anticline zone which in Dongying sag in Jiyang depression of Bohai bay basin, it is an important part of central uplift anticline zone. The whole of Xinzhen structural belt and transitional zone is controlled by extension stress mechanism, the inside of structural belt have developed all kinds of normal faults and a variety of fault block regions which controlled by normal faults. Every fault block region is the distribution pattern of parallel, and also there are a variety of structural styles of normal faults. In the profile of the structural belt, there is a thick plastic layer which Located in the middle. This paper take full advantage of high-quality seismic data of the study area, the study area is made of a systematic study and summary of the structural characteristics and development law and structural pattern formation mechanism, based on the interpretation. Characteristics of the lower order faults which exist in the region has been researched in the style of system.The premise of the study is the fine seismic data interpretation for the study area, with the help of seismic interpretation software Geoframe4.3, the cover area of the study is CDP :2203-2523, LINE :3477-4239, the network of work area density is measured 25 × 25 m, after the horizon calibration and the backbone section interpretation and the full three-dimensional explanation and the structure mapping, the seismic data interpretation has been done in the style of system, and attain the fracture system distribution of faults in plane and section of the study area. The main fault distribution system of research study area is parallel.After the completing work on the seismic interpretation of the study area, and take full advantage of interpreting the results of the study area, the presence of faults in the plane and section of shape and distribution, and the structural styles, structural transfer zone has been studied with the system, Structural style consists mainly of three types, namely: planar, shovel and sloping floor style. Combining the structural interpretation of the results and previous studies, and take advantage of the shallow deformation characteristics and thin-skinned extensional tectonic in this area, and summed up the genetic mechanism of the tectonic framework of the study area, which is diapir for rise, and proved the principles and basis of the diapir for rise of the tectonic pattern of the zone.In order to achieve fine interpretation of the requirements, we propose a fine describe for fault characterization, and use the intersection between fault sectional drawing view and top surface diagram, combined with modeling of the structural geology, display the more complex fault blocks of the study area in three-dimensional stereoscopic, so it can fully show the fault characteristics in the space, in order to reflect the fine interpretation, the characteristics of lower order faults which existed in the study area were studied, and proposed the derived formation mechanism of the low-order faults and fault bridge formation mode, and also proposed structure contour distortion identification method, the low order faults is divided into five grade, and put forward the block as the basis for the division of fault grade.
