The Theoretical Review And Realistic Value Of Ecological Marxism

In the middle of the 20 th century,with the process of industrialization speeding up and the continuous development of science and technology,the ability of human to conquer and transform nature was gradually increased,and it brought the satisfaction of material wealth,causing the constant tension of the relation between man and nature,while the global ecological problems appeared,which is a serious threat to human survival and development.As the ecological crisis deepened,the environmental problem has become a hot global topic,and people started to rethink the relationship between man and nature.In the process of exploration,people had to consider the deep reflections from the capitalist system.Eventually,they realized to solve the ecological crisis by using the theory and ideas of Marxism,which is formed with ecological point of view to explore the causes of the capitalist crisis,emerging the most influential social thoughts of ecological Marxism to protect the environment.Ecological Marxism attempted to combine Marxism with ecological movement from the ecological dimensions criticizing capitalism to construct an ecological socialist new theory for the harmonious development of man and nature.This paper systematically analyzes the concepts of controlling nature,egocentrism and economic rationality of Western rationality and probes into the close relationship between controlling nature and mankind,while it opposes non-anthropocentric values and capitalist forms of anthropocentrism,and reinterprets the connotation of controlling nature and puts forward the idea of modern anthropocentrism emphasizing that human beings are not the fundamental cause of ecological problems.At the same time,it also analyzes the capitalist system produced by the Western rational concept,revealing the anti-ecological nature of capitalism from the system dimension,and analyzes the dual contradiction between the capitalist productive forces,production relations and conditions so as to conclude and it also probes into the phenomena of material rupture under the capitalist system.From the angle of economics,this paper criticizes the contradiction between the fantasy improvement of ecological capitalism and ecology,drawing the conclusion that the improved capitalism can't solve the ecological problems.The developed countries,relying on their strong economic strength,science and technology and military strength,have been constantly carrying out ecological transfer to the developing countries to alleviate the evils of ecological imperialism in their own environment.In addition,driven by the pursuit of profit,capitalist countries have deeply reflected the ecological problems caused by technology alienation and consumption alienation,and resulting in consumption alienation and analyzes consequences of technology alienation and consumption alienation of ecological and ways to get rid of it.Ecological Marxism reveals the nature of capitalism and the internal relations of ecological crisis,pointing out that the capitalist system is the culprit of the ecological crisis.The only way to solve the ecological crisis is to change the capitalist system.Therefore,they construct ecological socialism instead of capitalism,and emphasize that only the construction of ecological socialist society can solve the ecological crisis.Ecological Marxism has discussed the model of political,economic and cultural development and values for the future society.It has certain theoretical value and practical significance for the construction of socialist ecological civilization in China.Thus,we can get the realistic value of studying eco-Marxism to build our socialist society in the future.Such as developing circular economy,promoting ecological technology,advocating rational consumption,resisting ecological transfer etc,on this basis the paper puts forward the idea that ecological sharing is the necessary stage to build ecological socialism.The theory provides a new perspective for solving global ecological problems and a theoretical basis for building the new socialist society in China.Of course,the theory and conception of the future society has a strong utopian view with the feasible solution.Therefore,in the process of building an ecological civilized society,we should treat the ecological Marxism dialectically,and drain the dross and absorb the essence so that ecological Marxism can really contribute to the construction of socialist ecological civilization in China.
