The Problem-domain Exploration Of The Ecological Marxism

The Ecological Marxism originated under the special background of ecological crisis being increasingly serious and ecological movement being booming.It has own characteristics and the rich theoretical connotation.Based on defining the basic concept of Ecological Marxism,this paper emphatically explores the thought of the Ecological Marxists represented by Agger,O'Connor,Foster and Leiss in the three aspects of the reconstruction of Marxist philosophy,criticisms of the anti-ecological nature of capitalism,and the conception of future society,aimed at clarifying the problem-domain of Ecological Marxism.In today's world,faced with various challenges of new thoughts and new movements to the classical Marxism,it is necessary to have a correct view of the Ecological Marxism and further clear its advantages and limitations in the perspective of Marxism,which will help us more soberly deal with ecological problems and provide theoretical and practical guidance for the ecological civilization construction of China and even other countries in the world under the new situation of the 21st century,finally promote global ecological security.
