| Taking into account the difference between the definition of Chinese and Western art and the particularity of the Chinese artist identity,the"ancient artist" in the thesis is described and defined.There is no such thing as "artist" in ancient China.The ancient "artist" in the text can be restricted to "literati artist"-derived from "literati painter".Such a special group of people,most of whom are from the grass-roots classes,have been culturally influenced by many kinds of education such as etiquette,music,shooting,imperial examination,education in numbers,and other disciplines and are well versed in piano,chess,calligraphy,painting,poetry and music.Arts,hobbies tea,wine,flowers,antiques and other arts activities,set excellent learning,taste,and identity in one.Most of them are longing for indulgence in the landscape,inhabit pastoral life.They are the masters of the garden;they are the advisers of the gardens;the commentators of the gardens;or the communicators of the gardens.They contributed to the birth of the garden,through the prose or brush records,promote the garden,comment,spread gardening skills,they are inextricably linked with the garden,has an important impact on the development of gardens in the history of the garden Left its own unique mark.However,instead of cultivating their own garden,they are not professional gardeners,but instead concentrate their energies on other types of artistic activities and artistic creation.They have made outstanding contributions and achievements in various fields of art and are capable of serving as "artists" This title.As a special status created under the ancient Chinese culture and social system,they are artists in a broad sense and become elite social groups unique to Chinese civilization.They are also genuine creators and successors of Chinese traditional culture.The garden,as a comprehensive art collection type,showing diversity and multicultural penetration of various categories of art,has a long history and culture connotation evolution.How to choose from a large number of complicated cultural information and artistic phenomenon and how to strip out its specific regularity and essence,it become the difficult points in the landscape art research.The author attempts to break the traditional research perspective and ideas,jumping out of the research about the garden works and the characters,and to examine the development and evolution of garden art in a more macro perspective.It is not difficult to find that the artist,as the special media,appeared in the garden at the beginning of the period,and play direct or indirect effects in the concept,function and significance in different stages of the development of the garden.Therefore,considering the artist as the breakthrough point of the research,can get rid of the shackles of the constraint of the form,up to a more systematic,macroscopic degree,and dig out the deep meaning and explore the traditional garden art heritage road.From the commonness of artists,the research of Chinese garden art can be divided into several parts:the artist’s life trajectory,spiritual world,art works and landscape theory.Through integrating art,archaeology,economics,sociology and many other disciplines,the author can analyse and interpret several points of the art of garden,as the following:Firstly,the artist and the garden interact in different stages of life,which constantly accumulate,enrich and improve the garden function,form and meaning;secondly,the artist’s thinking model and psychological prototype gives meaning and unique style of Chinese garden,and let Chinese garden bred poetic flavour;thirdly,through the different art works of artists,the application of synaesthesia practices derived from the assimilation of heterogeneity phenomenon in the garden,which highlights the unique artistic style of Chinese garden;lastly,the artist’s garden theory and the case landscape have given a strong complement and rich,and have created the diversity and uniqueness of the Chinese garden art theory and practice in the framework of the system.Classical garden art occupies an important position in Chinese history,and even has a profound impact on the world garden art.As a kind of cultural symbol,Chinese garden has a strong national culture characteristic,which is deeply integrated into the blood of Chinese people.Focusing on the inheritance of garden art,the study of its surface morphology,function and technique,and its deep implication,culture,and cause of the excavation,is always the goal and direction of Chinese landscape architecture. |
