| Industrial design is reflected as the significant carrier of the material civilisation of human society,not only for meeting the growing demands of material and cultural life,but also bear the responsibility of encouraging consumption and promoting sustainable economic growth.Confronting the fierce global market competition,both domestic and foreign enterprises delve deeply into potential user needs,continuously introduce more competitive products,occupy the market and guide consumption.Self-directed product innovation has become the focus of the competition among countries and enterprises.Demand mining and transformation,innovation design expression and design evaluation are important links of product innovation design.However,current studies on implicit demand mining and mapping is not thorough enough.Product innovation design is the object in this article,with research goals of identifying and converting accurate user needs,‘multi-sensory’ representation of product innovation design and happiness evaluation of user experience.By means of conjoint analysis including user emotions,EEG and psychological agreeableness,systematically study collection and conversion methods of requirement metaphors,‘multi-sensory’ representation techniques of product innovation design,evaluation methods of user experiential enjoyment.And provides theoretical and technical support for product innovation design of domestic manufacturing enterprises.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Theory study on product innovation design user experience pleasure evaluation driven by demand mapping.The information transmission distortion mechanism of user needs in the process of product innovation design is analysed,and put forward the correction method of user needs information transmission distortion in product innovation design.Demonstrate basic characteristics of user implicit needs,and bring up psychological principles of eliciting user implicit needs.Since the knowledge background discrepancy between designers and users,it is hard for the designer to precisely understand demand semantics of the user and psychological principles of perception mapping of demand semantics are pointed out.Analyse physiology and psychology fundamentals of multi-sensory representation user experience pleasure evaluation method in product innovation design,and indicate the relations between user perceptual experience pleasure and human emotion,physiology and psychology.This confirms that psychological and physiological indicators of the user can reflect the degree of user perceptual experience pleasure in product innovation design representation,and as the basis of product design evaluation..(2)Research on methods of potential user needs acquisition and transformation.Based on the analysis of existing modalities of potential user needs,obtain user implicit needs through metaphor elicitation techniques,and cluster implicit demand semantics by means of semantic similarity.Use psychological techniques such as free association and image mapping to establish user demands semantics-multi-modal design element mapping model for demand semantics,and map user implicit demand into perceivable multi-modal design elements.For the engineering application of this method,the device of user demand semantics-multi-modal design elements mapping system has been designed.Therefore provide pragmatic method to the mapping of user implicit needs during product innovation design.At last,the viability and practicality of this method are verified through acquisition and transformation of potential user needs of SUV cars from the Chongqing based company A.(3)Research on the method of product innovation design multi-sensory representation.For issues such as the unitary expression adopted in current design with low valence of user perceptual experience,a device of multi-sensory representation system for product innovation design is engineered.This method converts product design concepts into multi-sensory design representations such as visual,haptic and olfactory expressions,which improve the user’s experience perceptibility of product design.For the the significant difference between color quality expressed in product design and color quality of the actual product,an expression equivalent threshold test method for product innovation design based on user perceptual experience is proposed.The principle of product design material expression equivalent threshold user experience evaluation is analysed,and the user perception equivalent threshold testing device for product design color expression materials is designed.This method is verified by the equivalent threshold evaluation of product innovation design color expression and the color quality of actual product.(4)Research on multi-sensory representation user experience pleasure evaluation method of product innovation design.For single subjective evaluation cannot validate the result of user experience pleasure evaluation in product innovation design expression,put forward the psychology/physiology-based user experience pleasure evaluation method of product innovation design with multi-sensory representation.By means of psychological scale,EEG and facial expression analysis systems,analyse subjective evaluation,EEG and facial expression data of multi-sensory expression process of user experience in product innovation design.In order to validate multi-sensory representation user experience pleasure evaluation method,conduct a user experience happiness evaluation experiment for the innovation design multi-sensory representation of a commercial vehicle from company B.Evaluation results demonstrate that this method can subjectively assess multi-sensory representation of product innovation design. |
