The large scientific facilities are the large-scale basic research devices that realizes the important scientific and technological goals.It has the characteristics of large in-vestment scale,long construction period and long operating time.The control system is an important part of the large scientific facility.It is the link that connects the various subsystems of the facility and coordinates them.It is also the platform for the commis-sioning and operating of the facility.The system infrastructure is the foundation of the control system and determines the overall performance of the control system.The data archiving system is an important part of the control system.It is used to store a large amount of data generated during the operation of the facility.The archived data can be used for the performance analy sis and fault diagnosis of the facility.It helps to improve the performance of the facility and is also important for the operation and maintenance of the facility.Based on the latest developments in the field of technology related to large scientific facilities in the world,this thesis carries out a series of research work around the infrastructure of large scientific facilities control system and historical data archiving technology.EPICS is the most widely used development platform for the controls of the large scientific facilities.Currently,there are two major versions,EPICS V3 and EPICS7.EPICS V3 has been widely used in the control system of the large scientific facilities,but EPICS7 is still under development and has only been initially applied on some facil-ities.Based on EPICS7,this thesis studies the control system infrastructure,describes the software structure and the functions of the main modules of EPICS7.The three-layer prototype control system is designed with the middleware technology.The com-munication performance of pvAccess and CA protocol is tested and compared,which indicates that the performance of pvAccess is obvious better than CA.The design of pvData application shows that pvData can help to deal with more complex control re-quirements.Software Interlock Server is developed by separating program and con-figuration files.The program performance meets software interlock requirements and improves the maintainability.Archiver Appliance is the latest historical data archiving software released in the EPICS community.This thesis carries out the research on the historical data archiving technology.On the one hand,this thesis studies the design principle,the storage for-mat and the data interface of Archiver Appliance,and optimises the automatic deploy-ment program.The data query performance of Archiver Appliance and RDB Channel Archiver is tested and compared.The results show that the former(especially the short-term data)is faster than the latter.On the other hand,the parameter configuration of the archiving software is studied.The method of distributed automatic configuration of archiving parameters is proposed to reduce the shortcomings of the centralized con-figuration of the archiving parameters.The Auto Configurator software is developed and tested.The test shows that the technology can improve the maintainability of the archiving software significantly.In addition,the visualization software for archiving data is designed and developed using front-end separation techniques.The increase in the size of large scientific facilities has led to the increase in the amount of the historical data during the operation,and the processing of massive data becomes the bottleneck for the data query and analysis performance.In this thesis,the data warehouse for large scientific facilities is designed based on the Hadoop ecosystem.The Hadoop cluster is built,and the data migration program is developed to be compat-ible with different data archiving software.These efforts provide a research platform for the data analysis based on the data warehouse in the future.At present,the National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory is carrying out the pre-research work of the Hefei Advanced Light Source(HALS).The research work in this thesis is a part of the "HALS Control Technology Research" sub-project.The relevant research results provide technical reserves for the future construction of HALS.
