Study On The Regional Landscape System Of Chengdu Plain

From the end of the last century to the beginning of this century,China’s reform and opening-up policies has brought about profound changes in many fields.In the field of urban construction,in which the urbanization campaign has been vigorously carried out in most provinces and cities nationwide.The process of urbanization has played a powerful role in promoting the rapid urban and rural development and upgrading the material standards of living of residents.However,with the rapid development of the territorial and living environment in our country,which has led to the significant absence of rich regional landscape diversity in the same time.Regional landscape representatives and a symbol of the integration of man and nature in a specific geographical environment,which are valuable assets inherited from the continued construction of the local people for thousands of years,and belong to the fundamental component of our local culture.They must never be overlooked or even trampled upon.In the face of the present situation of China’s development,we’d better re-start from the perspective of history,carry out researches on the regional landscape in different regions,analyze in depth its process of formation,changes and pattern characteristics,absorb the ways and experiences of the ancients in dealing with man-land relations.There’s a great significance of the development of urban and rural areas,the protection and inheritance of regional landscapes for the present and the future.They are also the key directions and contents of research for the landscape architecture to take root in the land and face the new situation.Chengdu Plain is an integral part of China’s geographical regions.Because of its superior natural conditions and rich cultural atmosphere,the "Tianfu" reputation has been passed on for thousands of years and has created a unique regional landscape with unique regional characteristics.This thesis,from the perspective of landscape architecture as a guide,selects the ancient(before 1911)Chengdu Plain and eight counties as the object,After combing the main processes in all stages of history,taking the natural environment as the fundamental foundation,the author divides the regional landscape system into two levels:the district and town.The former influences the formation of the latter to a large extent,and the latter differences is another important part of the former.The combination of the two levels can deeply and detailedly understand the pattern of the regional landscape.Regional landscapes of district start with natural landscapes,and analyze in depth the existing literature,local chronicles,maps,military mapping,old photos and other data,combing the regional district landscape under the influence of coupling and superposition of water conservancy construction,agricultural production and urban-rural development.The water conservancy construction started from the overall development and changes,water conservancy facilities,management and maintenance.The agricultural production started from the overall development,farmland construction and farming system.The urban-rural system still proceeded from the overall development and summed up the system characteristics and corresponding construction methods.The regional landscape of town is a collection of eight typical counties and surrounding ecotopes based on the region.Natural geogical environment,water conservancy construction and agricultural production are deeply affected by the environment of district.The pattern and development change keep the overall synchronization with the slight differences.On this basis,the establishment of the counties,covering the sightseeing of mountains and rivers,the potential fortification,the integration of the city water and the gathering of the landscape.The established landscape is also the typical representative of the town landscape,especially the "Eight Scenes" refined,reflecting the county and the town,town and district interrelationship.After the detailed research and analysis of the regional landscape in two levels,summarizes the characteristic of its system,including the comparison,the differences between the construction content and scale level.Then comb the change points of the characteristics of regional landscape system from the late Qing dynasty to present,puts forward three strategies and five measures related to the protection of current and future regional landscape,hopes to be able to arouse the modern value of regional landscape.Finally,this paper summarizes the full text from the five aspects,they are superior and deep environment foundation,steady rise in the historical process,vertical integration of regional landscape,synchronized and diverse regional landscape of town and heritage protection strategy of adjustment.The innovation of this paper lies in two aspects.One is the innovation of research results.On basis of collecting a large amount of abundant first-hand information,to a certain extent,it makes up for the study of the regional landscape of Chengdu Plain based on landscape architecture.Another is the innovation of research ideas.On basis of the regional scale,the various cities are separated to explore the relationship between the city and the area,and complete the integration of the three levels of the district regional landscape-town regional landscape-city landscape,finnaly realize the analysis and research from multi-level and multi-stage.
