Research And Practice Of Landscape System In Huotong Area

The formation and development of the regional landscape is affected by multiple factors.The various activities carried out by human beings on the natural base transform nature,and the land therefore presents a rich and distinctive appearance,and the emergence and integration of various cultures is also changing the temperament of the landscape.However,with the construction of modern rapid urbanization,Chinese regional landscape is facing the threat of being deconstructed and destroyed,and the research and protection of its landscape characteristics and culture are urgently needed.Huotong Town,located in Ningde City,Fujian Province,is a famous cultural town with a long history.Since the Three Kingdoms and Two Jin Dynasties,it has been an important sacred place for Taoism and Buddhist legends.With the grand master for admonition Huang Ju in the Sui Dynasty abandoning his official position and came to Fujian,leading the locals to construct Longyao Canal,Pipadong Canal and other water conservancy projects,the socio-economic development of the Huotong area has been greatly developed.This place has gradually changed from an uninhabitable wonderland to a paradise longed for by the ancients.Nowadays,Huotong Town retains natural mountain and water scenery,ancient towns and villages,farmland water conservancy projects,tea gardens,religious buildings and many other regional landscape elements.At the same time,it also faces many problems such as lagging economic development,mixed old and new landscape,and lack of culture.The research takes Huotong area as the object to discuss the formation,pattern and future development of its landscape system.The research is divided into six parts: sort out the historical context of Huotong landscape system,analyze the influence of various elements in the process of its landscape formation;make classification research on the three levels of nature,water conservancy,and farmland in Huotong landscape system,and combined with typical settlements to conduct detailed analysis of landscape units;summarizes the characteristics of the landscape system and briefly analyzes its modern development;studies relevant actual project cases at home and abroad to provide references for subsequent Huotong landscape planning and design;on the basis of this research,the landscape planning of Huotong Town was carried out,and the plan of Huang Ju Water Conservancy Scenic Area was proposed.Planning and design find feasible directions for regional landscape protection and regional cultural tourism development.
