Modern manufacturing industries with a major challenge in the process of development are highly dependent on non-renewable resources.After entering the "new normal",a quality priority mode for Chinese economic development will influence the current and future development direction directly.Traditional building materials industry is characterized by a large-scale utilization of resources and energy as well as,serious environmental pollution,leaving the industrial development more aligned to ecological and environmental protection in general.Meanwhile,the building materials industry has a high correlation,with its upstream and downstream industry is closely related to its mode of production.At present,China's building materials industry in the production process of the high consumption of energy resources,a large number of pollutants emissions simultaneously,serious excess capacity,which have caused great waste of resources and environmental pollution problems.In this context,how to optimize the building materials industry to adjust its industrial system,change the incentives and promote the international cooperation in capacity,to speed up cultivating new industrial advantages,gradually enter the ecological civilization,is the challenge of China's economic and social development.This has also become a new research mission,and being highly focused by the industrial economics and related subjects.This dissertation reviews the existing research literature and building materials industry development status quo,Integrated use of relevant theories of industry organization theory,industrial ecology,combing the connotation of ecological building materials industry,expand the research the basic theory of ecological development,the theory research mainly revolves around the four aspects:First,this research deeply analyzes the ecological characteristics and life cycle of building materials industry.It is argued that ecological building materials are integrated from one or several parts of building materials intermediates and final products achieving an efficient combination of ecologicalization and high emergy in the life cycle simultaneously,it divides the life cycle stages of ecological building materials industry by defining the meaning of ecological building materials industry population and its influential factors.This study elaborates that association between building material industry system and ecological system with some similarities.This Industry population has the symbiotic and synergistic effect contributed by the same special forms of the individuals.The main factors affecting its growth include industry evolution,competition,technological innovation and institutional change.Secondly,on the basis of the summary of the development of ecological building materials industry current situation,the author analyzes ecological building materials industry dynamic factors on the external environment and internal conditions of ecological industry growth,mainly from three aspects of the resources and environment constraints,industry value chain and the policy incentive.Currently,China's building materials industry to meet the dual pressure to change the pattern of economic growth and adjusting industrial structure,it is also the objective conditions about ecological building materials industry growth.Thirdly,based on industrial ecology theory and the evolution of industrial organization theory,it focuses on the population of the ecological building materials industry organization structure,its life cycle model and the way of diffusion.It introduces an improved resources patch model for study.As new species of building materials industry,this study explores the capability of resource patch capture and diffusion.In accordance with dynamic simulation analysis,the study found interaction among ecological building materials industry of emerging population and other industries population.There exists competitive and symbiotic relationship between the ecological building materials industry population and other industrial population,and the main growth momentum is its own's ability to capture patch resources.As long as the ability to capture enough,no matter how the initial state is,it will eventually gain dominant position in patch resources.In regard to the growth path of ecological building materials industry,the author analyses the differences of ecological building materials industrial organization evolution,compares the different ecological building materials industry growth path,and then puts forward the method selection of Chinese ecological building materials industry growth path.As for empirical and countermeasure research,this author stated the industrialization process of ecological building material through the analysis of laboratory data and the simulating its application effect on construction.In a case study,this research takes passive energy storage materials which use solar energy to save energy in building for further confirming technical innovation as the main driver of ecological building materials industry,then optional growth paths of ecological building materials industry are analyzed and related growth strategy is proposed.The author introduces the industrial ecology and related theory to elaborate theoretical and empirical issues of ecological building materials industry growth.The main conclusions are summarized as the following:(1)Ecological building materials industry incorporates symbiotism and competition,for emergence of ecological building materials industry population rooted and expanded from resource patch appear as the basic path of its growth.(2)Ecological building materials industry growth drivers come from internal and external industries,internal factors are mainly rooted in the ecological industrial system value chain extension,the external factors include resources and environment constraints and incentive induced from government policy.(3)The technological innovation plays an important role for new ecological building materials product R&D and industrialization.(4)The development path of ecological building materials industry mainly includes substitution,competition and symbiosis,and discretion should be according to the stage of economic development,technological innovation ability,policy constraints and incentives.This study has redefined the ecological building materials.Concretely,the ecological building material is optimizing mixture of the best economic indexes from mining of raw materials,product manufacturing,use and scrap on the basis of all kinds of technology innovation,the best environmental effect and the most favorable materials to human health throughout the whole process.This study tries to the construction of theoretical framework for the development of ecological building materials industry though systematically in-depth research,it first proposes division gist and the standards for the ecological building materials industry life cycle stages,established basic analytical category from the ecological building,ecological building materials industry,ecological building materials industry population to such as the ecological building materials industry growth drivers formation and diffusion theory and ecological building materials industry,population growth path selection theory etc.A comprehensive theoretical analysis framework to study the mechanism of ecological building materials industry growth which has carried on the beneficial development and innovation.
