With the development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta as a national strategy, narrowing the regional gap and achieving coordinated development have become new development goals, and solving the problems arising in the process of coordinated industrial development between regions is a key part of achieving high-quality coordinated development in the Yangtze River Delta region. The report of the 20 th National Congress pointed out that "insisting on focusing on the real economy of economic development",as an advantageous industry in the Yangtze River Delta region and an important part of the real economy, the coordinated development of the construction industry is of great significance to the promotion of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta. However,at present, the construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region still has problems such as uneven development between regions, waste of resources, and serious homogenization.Clarifying the coordinated development relationship of the construction industry between regions is conducive to the highquality development of the construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region. In view of this, this paper studies the coordinated development of construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region from the perspective of ecological niche.Firstly, based on the relevant concepts of industrial ecosystem and combined with natural ecosystem, the composition and connotation of the construction industry ecosystem are clarified, and the construction industry ecosystem is constructed and the ecological niche of the construction industry is analyzed.Secondly, through the synergy relationship of the construction industry and the analysis of the development status of the construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region, the ecological niche measurement index system of the construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region including four dimensions of resources, technology, market and efficiency was constructed, and the index weight was determined. Then, the ecological niche values and ecological niche overlap values of the construction industry in three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta region were measured in different dimensions, and the current development status and overlap of the construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region were clarified, and the interrelationship between the provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta region was preliminarily judged. The measurement results show that the construction industry in the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta region has the largest overlap in the resource dimension, followed by the market dimension, and the overlap in technology is relatively small.High overlap may lead to competition, but whether vicious competition exists and whether there is synergy between provinces and cities with different degrees of competition requires further analysis. Finally, the Lotka-Volterra model is constructed, and according to the judgment standard of regional industrial synergy, the ecological niche measurement results are converted into the output value signal of the model, and the industrial synergy and symbiosis between Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shanghai under different dimensions are analyzed, and the synergy of the construction industry in the Yangtze River Delta region is obtained, and the collaborative development suggestions are put forward from three aspects: strengthening the top-level design scheme of the industry, integrating the regional resource element market, and innovating the intelligent technology of the construction industry.
