The riparian greenspace covers the inner riparian buffer zone which maintains the ecological characteristics of the river and the outer riparian coordinated green zone which serves the adjacent urban and rural functional areas.Due to the lack of cognition,interest competition and predatory resource utilization and “one fits all” control measures,various riparian environmental problems and potential loss of social and economic value of the in mountainous cities are induced.How to reasonably plan and control them is worth studying.Under the background ecological priority and urban-rural spatial resources control,the paper hope to use ecology theories and urban-rural ecological planning theories,taking protection and utilization as the basis,to explore the planning methods of riparian greenspace in accordance with riparian natural characteristics and demands of urban-rural construction: based on following river network inner ecological features and maintaining ecological processes,exploring and balance different riparian greenspace external service function value,to guide individual riparian land function and space design.The differentiated planning control method is established,which integrate river natural ecological characteristics and the demands of urban-rural construction.The adaptive planning ideas of riparian green space are put forward.The three planning space level are constructed which that are suitable for river spatial levels(river network,river district and river section)and connected with urban-rural planning levels(overall urban-rural planning,regulative and constructive detailed planning).The core planning contents of all levels include the river network overall function localization and system construction,the river area longitudinal function organization and land use layout,river section lateral functional guidelines and spatial design,and the adaptive planning process and control approach.Four main technical points which regarding transect zoning system as focus are established,in order to ensure healthy operation of riparian internal ecosystem and meet internal demands of urban-rural social construction and development.The paper consists of the following four parts:The first part is research questions and cognition :(chapter 1)based on background and related planning research,the concept of research object is defined.Combined with the background features of mountainous cities,the existing riparian problems at three levels are clear and the internal planning and control problems are analyzed.The research goals,contents,methods and framework are established.(chapter 2)The inner spatial hierarchy and structure,ecological elements and process characteristics of riparian green space,and the external social service demands and spatial gradient transformation zoning demands of the mountain city are recognized.The typical composite functions of riparian green space are defined.The second part is planning corresponding thought:(chapter 3)through referencing the related theories and studying value orientation,the adaptive planning ideas of riparian green space of mountainous cities is put forward,which include following natural characteristics and maintaining internal ecological health;considering the composited function and explore the external service value;differentiated intervention and spatial hierarchical zoning coordination;cooperative and adaptive management,and joining planning system.The planning spatial levels and their research focus are clear which are urban and rural areas-river network,central urban and town areas-river district,streets and sites-river section.Four main techniques are put forward which are rivers and living space relation analysis,transect zoning system intergrating the characteristics and demands,spatial layout under the balance of composite function,dynamic procedures of planning and control.The third part is planning techniques: combined with the planning practice and case study of Chongqing’s main city,Nanchuan,Kaizhou and Meishan,the planning issues,goals and tasks of the three spatial levels of urban-rural areas,central city and town areas and streets and sites are established respectively.(chapter 4)At the level of urban-rural areas,the correlation between the ecological characteristics of watershed and the spatial development of urban-rural areas is analyzed.Based on the overall transect zoning of urban-rural watershed,the overall functional orientation and target strategies and the inherent ecological support system and external composite service system of riparian greenspace network are established.(chapter 5)At the level of central urban and town areas,the correlation between riparian topographic features and urban space is analyzed.Based on the longitudinal transect zoning,the longitudinal functional objectives and composite spatial system are established,so as to achieve the overall layout and control of the related land use in riparian areas.(chapter 6)At the level of streets and sites,the correlation between habitat characteristics and site space of river section is analyzed.Based on the riparian lateral transect zoning,the lateral functional guidance and spatial interface guidance are formulated.The spatial design in three key aspects(ecological stormwater regulation,habitat restoration,greenway and greenstreet design)for river section greening sites is conducted.The typical design guidance for transect zoning are developed.The fourth part is the suggestions of management and implementation:(chapter 7)the management and control approaches for coordination and adaptation are put forward,linked with the existing planning system,and the policy suggestions of management and implementation are put forward.
