The Haplotropidini Sergeev,1995 belonging to Pamphaginae,Pamphagidae,Acridoidea,Caelifera,Orthoptera,is a primitive family in Acridoidea.In recent years,the taxonomic status,taxonomy and identification standards of the genera and species included in the Haplotropidini Sergeev group have been greatly different at home and abroad.Sulcotrpis cyanipes is a synonym of Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 in Fauna of China.In2011,Storozhenko et al.recognized Haplotropis Saussure,1888 = Sinohaplotrpis elunchuna Cao et Yin,2008 and Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 = H.neimongolensis Yin,1982 = Sinohaplotropis elunchuna Cao et Yin,2008.The new genus and species,Humphaplotropis Xiao,Yin et Yin,2013 and Humphaplotropis taishanensis Xiao,Yin et Yin,2013 were found from Taishan.In 2015,Storozhenko et al.have ever thought that Humphaplotropis Xiao,Yin et Yin,2013 is a synonym of Haplotropis Saussure,1888 but it is not any reason.In order to further understand the species of Haplotropidini Sergeev from China,and further reveal their phylogenetic relationships,this paper studies the tribe Haplotropidini Sergeev,1995 by morphological identification and molecular biological methods,the conclusions are as below.1.Five genera and 18 species of the Haplotropidini Sergeev,1995 in China were redescribed and the key to genera and species were provided.2.In this paper,the tribe Haplotropidini Sergeev,1995 was studied,using normal morphology from Heilongjiang,Shandong,Inner Mongolia,Hebei,Shanxi,Jiangsu.specimens were studied,five species of the tribe: Haplotropis aqiensis Zhang,Lin et Yin,2018,Haplotropis shandongensis Zhang,Yin et Liu,2019,Haplotropis heiheensis Zhang,Li et Yin,2020,Sulcotropis xiaowutaiensis Li,Zhang et Yin,2020 and Sinohaplotropis amurensis Yin,Zhang et Yin,2020 were found.3.The tegmina of Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 in Holotype(?)reaching the middle of the third abdominal terget,while all the female and male specimens recorded from the China and Russia never reaching the hind margin of the second abdominal terget,so theyare not Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888.The male of Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 is unknown,its tegmina should be longer than that of the female,reaching or over the hind margin of third abdominal terget,from the publishing Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888 to now more than 130 years have not been collected similar long-winged female and male specimens,the species may be extinet.4.The Haplotropis neimongolensis Yin,1982 is showing a figure of body in lateral view? at the paper “On the taxonomic system of Acridoidea from China” only and undescribed,the male with a short subgenital plate that is distinctly distinguish with six known species of the genus.The Haplotropis neimongolensis Jin,1994 in Fauna Sinica,with uplift median keel of the pronotum and cut by the hind sulcus,so it is a species of the genus Sulcohumpacris Yin,Yin et Cao,2016,i.e.Sulcohumpacris neimongolensis(Jin,1994)comb.nov.and not synonym of Haplotropis brunneriana Saussure,1888.5.According to the bifurcation at the apex of the subgenital plate in male and the median keel of pronotum cut by hind sulcus are universal characteristics in taxonomy for genus,so the Sinohaplotropis Cao et Yin,2008 and Sulcotropis Yin et Chou,1979 are valid genera.The phylogenetic relationship tree of 15 species mitogenomes of Acridoidea and 1 species of Tridactyloidea,showing that Sulcotropis Yin et Chou is a valid genus and not a synonym of Haplotropis Saussure,1888.
