| ObjectiveBy collating the ancient literature on the source point from the pre-Qin to the end of Qing Dynasty,the application law of the source point was summed up,which provided theoretical basis for clinical and scientific research.MethodsTaking the 1156 traditional Chinese medicine ancient books included in the 5th edition of Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese medicine as the search scope.The standard names and other names of the 12 source points are searched one by one,and the contents of the single Acupoint application,the application of Acupoint compatibility,the Moxibustion method and contraindications of the source point are sorted out.We established a database,and used Python to write programs for data analysis,Gephi to draw association rule diagram.Results565 articles related to Taichong(LR 3)were included in the compilation,of which 288 were related to Taichong(LR 3),and 277 were applied in combination,covering 38 ancient books.232 articles related to the Qiuxu(GB 40)were included,of which 132 articles were related to the Qiuxu(GB 40),and 100 articles were used in combination,covering 28 ancient books.497 articles related to Daling(PC 7)were included,of which 294 were related to the Daling(PC 7),and 203 articles were used in combination,covering 44 ancient books.There are 198 articles related to the Chongyang(ST 42),of which 132 are related to the Chongyang(ST 42),and 66 articles are used in combination,covering 28 ancient books.407 articles related to Taiyuan(LU 9)were included in the compilation,of which 235 were related to Taiyuan(LU 9),and 172 were applied in combination,covering 30 ancient books.467 articles related to Taixi(KI 3)were included,of which 268 were related to Taixi(KI 3),and 199 articles were used in combination,covering 44 ancient books.197 articles related to Jinggu(BL 64)were included,of which 128 were related to Jinggu(BL 64),and 69 articles were used in combination,covering 22 ancient books.411 articles related to Shenmen(HT 7)are included,of which 201 are related to the Incursions of Shenmen(HT 7),and 210 articles are used in combination,covering 30 ancient books.There are 270 articles related to Taibai(SP 3),of which 143 are related to Taibai(SP 3),and 127 articles are used in combination,covering 25 ancient books.787 articles related to Hegu(LI 4)were included,covering 80 ancient Chinese medicine books,including 205 articles in Hegu(LI 4),and 582 articles in combination.268 articles related to Wangu(SI 4)were included,of which 135 related articles were related to the treatment of Wangu(SI 4),and 133 articles were used in combination,covering 33 ancient books.102 articles related to Yangchi(TE 4)were included,of which 62 were related to Yangchi(TE 4)and 40 were applicable,covering 26 ancient books.1.Application Law of single acupoint in source point.Taichong(LR 3)can treat 87 kinds of diseases with a total frequency of 288 times.Taichong(LR 3)good governance of spleen and stomach diseases,kidney diseases,liver and gallbladder diseases etc.Qiuxu(GB 40)can treat 48 kinds of diseases with a total frequency of 132 times.It is good for treating diseases of channels-limbs,liver and gallbladder diseases etc.Daling(PC 7)can treat 78 kinds of diseases,with a total frequency of 294 times.It is good for heart diseases,facial features and ENT dept diseases,diseases of channels-limbs etc.Chongyang(ST 42)can treat 31 kinds of diseases with a total frequency of 132 times,good treatment of diseases of channels-limbs,followed by exogenous diseases etc.Taiyuan(LU 9)can treat 49 kinds of diseases with a total frequency of 235 times,and treats the lungs diseases,heart diseases and channels-limbs diseases etc.Taixi(KI 3)can treat 66 kinds of diseases,with a total frequency of 268 Taichong(LR 3).The most common acupoints for compatibility with Taichong(LR 3)are Zusanli(ST 36),Hegu(LI 4),Sanyinjiao(SP 6),Zhaohai(KI 6),Kunlun(BL 60)and so on.There are more compatibility between Taichong(LR 3)and the acupoints of the foot channel,among which the foot greater yang bladder meridian(BL),foot yang brightness stomach(ST),foot reverting yin liver meridian(LR),foot lesser yin kidney meridian(KI)acupoint use frequency in order to rank the first 5 bits.There are 89 acupoints with a frequency of use is 313 in the ancient literature that are compatible with Qiuxu(GB 40).The most common acupoints for compatibility with Qiuxu(GB 40)are Kunlun(BL 60),Zusanli(ST 36),Jiexi(ST 41),Ligou(LR 5),Xingjian(LR 2)and so on.There are more compatibility between Qiuxu(GB 40)and the acupoints of the foot channel,among which the highest use of them are the foot lesser yang gallbladder meridian(GB),foot reverting yin liver meridian(LR),foot yang brightness stomach(ST),foot greater yang bladder meridian(BL)and so on.There are 177 acupoints with a frequency of use is 883 in the ancient literature that are compatible with Daling(PC 7).The most common acupoints for compatibility with Daling(PC 7)are Zusanli(ST 36),Shenmen(HT 7),Jianshi(PC 5),Tanzhong(CV 17)and so on.There are more compatibility between Daling(PC 7)and acupoints of conception vessel(CV),followed by acupuncture points such as foot greater yang bladder meridian(BL),hand reverting yin pericardium meridian(PC),hand great yin lung meridin(LU)and so on.There are 113 acupoints with a frequency of use is 286 in the ancient literature that are compatible with Chongyang(ST 42).The most common acupoints for compatibility with Chongyang(ST 42)are Gongsun(SP 4),Zusanli(ST 36),Lidui(ST 45),Quchi(LI 11),Hegu(LI 4)and so on.There are more compatibility between Chongyang(ST 42)and the acupoints of the foot channel,among which the foot yang brightness stomach(ST),foot greater yin spleen meridian(SP)and foot greater yang bladder meridian(BL)and so on have the highest frequency of use.There are 149 acupoints with a frequency of use is 706 in the ancient literature that are compatible with Taiyuan(LU 9).The most common acupoints for compatibility with Taiyuan(LU 9)are Lieque(LU 7),Zusanli(ST 36),Pianli(LI 6),Hegu(LI 4),Chize(LU 5)and so on.There are more compatibility between Taiyuan(LU 9)and the acupoints of
