ObjectiveThis paper compares the diagnosis and treatment model of typhoid fever in the early episode of "Treatise on Febrile Diseases",and uses the theory of thinking to analyze and expound its characteristics,emphasizing and grasping the clinical thinking behind different diagnosis and treatment models,in order to have an enlight-enment in Chinese medicine.MethodsIn the study,the methods of original study and theoretical research were used to organize,analyze and summarize the early bio-graphy of "Treatise on Febrile Diseases",including "Treatise on Febrile Diseases","Pulse Jing","Jin Gui Yu Han Jing"," Qian Jin Yao Fang","Qianjinyifang","Taiping Shenghuifang","Wai Tai Mi Yao"and "The Sources of Diseases".The contents of the diagnosis and treatment model of typhoid fever are reflected in them.Through the comparative study of the literature,using the perspectives of history,textology,and TCM theory,the special phenomena are elabor-ated.And use the theory of thinking to explain the inner guiding ideology of different modes of diagnosis and treatment.ResultsA vertical comparison of developments in each of the four treatment modes:The typhoid date is a product of the combination of the course of the disease observed in clinical practice and the different theory of human sex.Comparing "Su Wen·Theory","Treatise","All Diseases","Outside Taiwan",and "Sheng Hui
