| The thesis is targeted at the large orchestral works of Yang Liqing---one of the most famous composers in contemporary China,by systematic and all-around analysis of his three orchestral works through different angles,dimensions and levels.It will summarize the signature techniques,creation thoughts and organizational ways of Yang Liqing’s music.In the foreword section,the thesis concises Yang Liqing’s biography,accomplishments and the time division of his musical creation,meanwhile briefs the tree orchestral works,which will be analyzed in the following sections.Chapter one emphasizes on<Suicide by the Wujiang River>(1988).As an introduction,the chapter states the relationship between this work and<King Chu doffs his armor>.Then it elaborates the pitch organization,harmony,polyphony,orchestration and structure.Thus makes relevant conclusions.Chapter two emphasizes on<Desert at dusk>(1998).Due to the exploratory and experimental tendency,the chapter focused on this work’s pitch organization,timbre and acoustic structure.Then it draws appropriate conclusions.Chapter three emphasizes on<Impression of Muqam>(2011).It elaborates musical materials,tonality,timbre and musical structure.Thus makes relevant conclusions.In the ending part,the thesis makes comparation and conclusion on the analysis made through the text and the view made on such basis from multiple perspectives.It also clarifies the styles and characteristics of Yang Liqing’s large-scale orchestral works.In addition,it defines the time characteristic and aesthetic value of Yang Liqing’s music.The expectation is to provide some possible referential value to the creation in contemporary Chinese music and helps it towards progress. |
