In Chapter 1,I introduce Yan Zun and his book LaoZiZhiGui(abbreviation:ZhiGui)for the main purpose of constructing cognitive foundation of his text thoughts.Firstly,I outline his life stories,social contributions and spiritual pursuits.His stories should be reflected in an operating world by seclusion and transcendent.His contributions should demonstrate their filial piety,loyalty and respect to the masses.His pursuits should embody the care of natural purport to LaoZi.Secondly,I make use of many investigated results in modern and contemporary research literature to explain the book’s general historical background.And then I expound its layout of chapters and essential ideas with the textbook’s Scripture Directory and Overall Prelude.The book is an incomplete text,partially unauthentic.Its structure arrangement is generally in the light of number of Yin(阴)-Yang(阳).It abides by moral idea of the nature.This chapter roughly reveals his life background,personality and the source,element,construction,subject of his text.Chapter 2 is about a philosophical methodology of ZhiGui’s "Shape(形)".Its key is an establishment of life-principle(生命原则)of "the Invisible(无形)",the modelings of present initiation of "the Visible(有形)"and human’s experienced recognitions of "the Tangible(可形)".First of all,I discuss unlimited change,physical evidence and general regulation of "the Invisible".This makes conclusion of their indefinite form,real-body(真体)and degree-system(度制)with living things of a natural evolution,an actual verification and a possible specification.Subject of their thoughts is natural,limitless and coherent.Again,I talk about chaotic fusion,direct generation and flowing deduction of "the Visible".Their shapes are conjectured to existence methods and development styles by the natural "Root(根)" and "Going(行)",the moral "Quality(性)" and "Heart(心)",the "Punishment(刑)" and"Pattern(型)" of all things.It points out their moral connotation,natural course and material achievement.At last,I illustrate a corresponding comparison,intrinsic implication and external performance of "the Tangible".According to relative contrast,root-truth(本真)and presenting patterns of "the Shape",this can know about their possible appearances and proper connotations.The appearences are images,looks,colors,sounds,pictures and names of "Special Shape(殊形)",etc;The connotations are properties,traits,spirits and bodies of the shapes,etc.This chapter does mainly explore cognitive principle,prototype and possibility with philosophical method recognition of ZhiGui.The title of chapter 3 is an understanding road to reason for philosophical method of ZhiGui.Its focus is on the derivation of "Xiang(Image,象)",the reasoning of"Ming(Name,名)" and the inference of "Fen(Part,分)".This is the construction with cognitive completion about Meaning-Image thinking(意象思维),Form-Name logic(形名逻辑)and Part-Reason measure(分理度量).In the first place,I deduce"Fixed formula(法式)"of "the Humanities(人文)"from "the Image",which is the image of non-image(无象)→the universal law-image(法象)all things of self-image(自象)→the cultural decoration-image(饰象).The non-image reveals five meanings of Direction(向),Echo(响),Thinking(想),Picture(相)and Likeness(像).The law-image is moral principles.The self-image is verifiable entities.The decoration-imgae is normative forms.Next,I prove "Positive Reality(正实,偏正结构)" of "the Substance(形物)" with "the Name",which is Correcting-law(正法)→Rectifying-name(正名)→Regulating-reality(正实,动宾结构).The law is the natural principle of enactment.The name is moral connotation of deduction.The reality is experience characterization of induction.Again,I infer "Measure and Calculation(度数)" of "Name and Reality(名实)" from "the Part",which is parting-reason(分理)→parting-measure(分度)→parting-sort(分类)→parting-number(分数)→parting-duty(分职).The reason is living principle of the natural evolution.The measure is time scale and etiquette criterion planned by the people.The sort is a regular way of overall discrimination.The duty is a responsibility of specific business.Three cognitive approaches are synthesized as a whole thinking way to prove the physical shape of visual inspection turning into meaning-image of the heart,making out Name-Symbol(名符)of actual pursuit and acting as the concept of sub-judgment.This is systematic review of connotations,forms,criterions and courses of its philosophical method.In chapter 4,I discuss the philosophical ontology of "the Nature(自然)" in ZhiGui.It focuses on inspection of coherent cause and effect of its main reasons which support the natural noumenon.These reasons are the Nature,the Moral(道德),the Spirit(神明)and the best harmonious(太和).At the beginning,I talk about "the Nature" is the basic reason of the universal lives.From the general theory of natural meanings to its inference about the vain-real(虚实)and thier bodies,the inside-outside(内外)and thier uses,the cause-effect(因应)and thier harmonies,I provide an understanding of Life-Me(生命我)which are Dao-Me(道我),De-Me(德我),Root-Me(本我),Self-Me(自我)and So-Me(然我).This helps them comply with the natural development of the Moral,the Spirit and the Best Harmony in a reason.Thereafter,I expound the basic reason,the important details and the understanding ways about "the Moral".It ascribes to the Nature and contains the greatest completion(大全)of nihility so that I can demonstrate its natural way from Morality-Me(道德本我).Hereafter,I comment on the reason,the kernel and the instinct of "the Spirit".Its reason is provided with the Moral guided by the Nature.The Natural Spirit(自然神)is its core and smart response of the universal life is its instinct.At last,I interpret the reason,the essence and the original shape of "the Best Harmony".It is the effect of the Spirit bearing by the Moral.Its essence is a pervading Gas(气)and its shape is the natural objects.It demonstrates full integration and infinite combination of the Natural Reason(自然本因),the Moral Quality(道德本性),the Spiritual Instinct(神明本能)and the Harmonious Essence(太和本质)in overall attribution of the universal lives.This is the explanation for the root of the ontology.The fifth chapter is about a generating Shape-World(形物世界)built by the Heaven(天),the Matter(物)and the Human(人)of the ontology.I firstly discuss its generation,intention and energy-limit(能限)about the Universe(天地).It is completely opened by the Heaven-Way(天道)and the Heaven-Growth(天生)of the Nature,the Heaven-Quality(天性)and the Heaven-Fate(天命)of the Moral,the Heaven-Heart(天心)and the Heaven-Significance(天意)of the Spirit,the Heaven-Truth(天理)and the Heaven-Unification(天统)of the Harmony.They may be briefly included as the Heaven of the Nature,the Heaven of the Moral,the Heaven of the Spirit,the Heaven of the Harmony.These are limited dynamic presence and wholly real development of the universal lives.Next,I explain conformation,implication and Division-Addition(分合)of the Matter.The Matter bearing in the universe is not only involved in the gene,the primitive and the matrix of the natural life but also extrapolated above the reality,the entity and the function of the conscious life.Its Fate-Division(命分)is the original basis of Dao-Division(道分)of the heaven,Name-Division(名分)of the human and Truth-Division(理分)of the knowledge.I finally illustrate the prime source,the fundamental cognition and the basic wisdom of the humans.The Human coming from the Matter should be divided into the Dao-human(道人),the De-human(德人),the Benevolence-human(仁人),the Righteousness-human(义人)and the Rite-human(礼人)in the typical shaping of life.Therefore,I am conscious of demonstrating the man’s operating world,the people’s originally true-quality(真性)and the sages’ character.And then,the man’s Basic-Heart(本心)can display his Mature Knowledge(知故)and wisdom.The chapter’s key is integration with the Heaven,the Matter and the Human which their corresponding divisions are big,middle and small beings.This is the actual material of the universal life.The sixth chapter shall elucidate the Ontology-Awareness(本体觉解)of the Humanities-world(人文世界)which consists of the Ideas(意),the Words(言)and the Implements(器).Its key is process verification and ultimate promise of the Ontology in human life practice.Firstly,I expound the Useful Skills(术用)of the Intentions(意欲)for the Man’s heart.This means "the Idea","the Desire(欲)" and"the Intension" of the moral life may lead to the Foremost Intelligence(本智)realized by the Heart and the purpose distinguished by Mature Knowledge.From that we get the fundamental meaning of the Intension of the Man’s understanding nature.Secondly,I talk about the Skills of the Words and Religions(教)for the humanities.This introduces these words and religions can be recognized by the intensions and their connotations and relations.According to it,I reach conclusion of the text’s gist which be the people’s expressing nature.Then,I comment on the skills of the Implements and the Affairs(事)for the human’s world.It clarifies effective interpretation of both in a language system to explore their meanings and relationships.Based on these,I investigate their enterprise of the jobs should be attached to the man’s hoping nature.The chapter’s focuses on clarifying actual contents and performances of aforementioned three in the people’s life for returning the Nature.The above six chapters have mainly explained these connotations of the writer,the text,the review,the shape,the image,the name,the division,the nature,the moral,the spirit,the harmony,the heaven,the matter,the human,the intensions,the words and the religions,the implements and the affairs,etc and their relations and whole grasp in ZhiGui,from its presented philosophical explanations to systematic instructions of the research methodology and ontology should be coherently constructed with the two’s possibilities and feasibilities.According to this,I systematically prove "the Shape"philosophical methodology and "the Nature" philosophical ontology.The methodology and the ontology are both unlimited fusion on transcending understanding of the universal life and particular expedience in experience recognition of people’s lives.This shows not only its philosophical method and noumenon should be circular harmony and mutual conversion within analysis factors of the theory,but also its life’s reality and history could be compatible clearness in cognitive linkage of the front and behind ideas.
