This thesis mainly studies the influence and application of Tibetan Buddhist music culture in contemporary Mongolian music composition,using three representative works of three Mongolian composers from different ages.The first chapter summarizes the history of Tibetan Buddhism Music in Song and Yuan Dynasties that originates from Tibetan and Central Plains regions and spread to the north of Mongolia.The chapter then retrospectively analyzes the form and artistic features of Tibetan Buddhism music—including chanting music,"Qiang Mu " music and etiquette music,etc..A brief summary of the contents of this chapter is presented at the end.The second chapter analyzes the music form of Tibetan Buddhism music and cultural form of Buddhism music in the Mongolian region of Inner Mongolia,focusing primarily on analyzing the cultural characteristics of the integration of Tibetan Buddhism music and Mongolian music.The chapter also reviews the characteristics of traditional music in various regions of Inner Mongolia,and concludes with a summary.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics,composing techniques,music structures of three representative works,chronologically Forever Blessings by Se Enkebayaer,The Saints of May by Qin Wenchen,and One Hundred Prayer Wheels by E Narisu,and concludes with a brief summary.The fouth chapter from perspectives such as pitch organization,rhythm,tempo,sound,timbre and texture,etc.,and using analysis methods as isomorphism,deconstruction and reconstruction of the composing ideas,the fourth chapter explores the inheritance,reference,incorporation and application of Tibetan Buddhism music in the three contemporary and representative Mongolian music compositions.Conclusion:By analyzing the three contemporary and representative Mongolian music works,this thesis gives necessary attention to the influence of Tibetan Buddhism music culture in Inner Mongolia and Mongolian music composition.Meanwhile,the thesis attempts to conduct comprehensive and subjective analysis and summary of music composition under the religious influence,using modern and contemporary composition techniques and ideas of the 20th century.In short,the thesis ultimately intents to explore the composing paths and forms of modern and contemporary music composition while taking the concepts and forms of traditional Chinese music culture,including Tibetan Buddhism music culture and traditional Mongolian music composition as basic elements...
