The prayer wheel that is a unique instrument of Tibetan religion takes the Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum as the core. Because of its distinctive shape and especial symbolic meaning on Tibetan culture,the prayer wheel has dual implications of ritual instruments and aesthetic images. In order to reveal the aesthetic implication of the prayer wheel, the article will explain the form and symbolic meaning of the prayer wheel in the Tibetan Buddhist system.After introducing the origin of the prayer wheel, the article analyses the aesthetic implication of the prayer wheel from spinning, Mantra, and barrel. The first part is about the origin of the prayer wheel beginning with some research on the form and the content of prayer wheel culture, this part will explain how the prayer wheel was born and grew up in the Tibetan culture, and then describe the reform of the prayer wheel. The second part is the sublimation of spinning in aesthetic. The rotation directions are different between the Tibetan Buddhist and Ben(Primitive Religion).The part will explain the beauty of syncretism of Heaven and Man in spinning, the evolution of Heaven in Tibetan culture, and the beauty of harmonization between spinning and spirit of the believer. The third part is about mantra and the aesthetic contents, this part will introduce the content and various carriers of the Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum and the aesthetic matter of Tibetan under the intersection between Tibetan culture and Sanskrit culture. The fourth part is the barrel and the aesthetic images. This part will introduce the symbolic meaning of different colors and materials of the prayer wheel and the eternal meaning of circle.
