Marx's Concept Of "realistic Man"

Engels summed up Marx's theory as "the science of the real men and of their historical development".Therefore,we can understand the concept of "real men" as the subject concept of Marx's theory.There are two main reasons why Marx used the "real men" concept at a high frequency.Firstly,Marx used the concept of "real men" to completely replace the concept of "abstract men" of all the previous speculative philosophy.Secondly,Marx paid close attention to the real men and their realistic fate,and explored the real possibility of Living a happy life for all the oppressed,enslaved and despotic men.A theoretical foundation on “Marx's real men concept” has been proposed in this paper by investigating and analysing the concept to understand deeply the basic spirit of Marx's philosophy,and to prove the inexistence of “men's absence” of Marx's theory,and to reaffirm that “real men and their activity” is the central topic of Marx's theory.Thereby,based on Marx's main text in this article,I analyse deeply the main discourse,ideas,and views related to the concept of "real men" in these texts,to examine the basic connotation and value point of the concept of Marx's "real man".The text is divided into four chapters.Main contents are as follows:The first chapter examines the origin from Feuerbach's of the Marx's concept of "real men".The Feuerbach's concept of "real men" is the direct origin of the concept of Marx's "real man".Investigating and analysing the concept deeply is the foundation to understand correctly the concept of Marx's "real man".Reality is the fundamental characteristic of the concept of the "men" of Feuerbach's theory.Feuerbach's "real men" is the existence of the "class" and objective existence.The concept of Feuerbach's "real men" is an important theoretical result that Feuerbach criticized religious theology and speculative philosophy.The value of the concept being used by Feuerbach is to eliminate and negate the all abstract ideas of human nature.Feuerbach advocated that "the real man and its essence" is the research object of his new philosophy.Through analysing and investigating carefully the Feuerbach's concept of "real men",we can see that his concept has a strong abstract colour,which is characterized by non-dialectics,non-practicality and transhitorical nature.Therefore,from the strong abstract colour concept of Feuerbach's "real man" to "real living men",we must consider "real men" as "men who act in history".This outstanding work wasdone by Marx in the main theoretical works of The Holy Family and later.The second chapter examines and analyzes the generation logic of Marx's concept of "real men".Marx's concept of "real men" has experienced several periods of birth,basic formation and deep development.The period of birth of the concept is from Marx's Doctoral Thesis to The Holy Family.The works of this period fully reflect the course of development,which is from Marx's concept of "self-consciousness" as "the abstract man" to Feuerbach's concept of "real men".The basic forming period of Marx's concept of "real men" is from the On Feuerbach to The Poverty of Philosophy.The works in this period fully reflect the following main contents of the concept:Marx completely jumpt out the the pattern of Feuerbach's concept of "real men",and Marx's concept of "real men" was based on the historical materialism and scientific practice.The deep developed period of the concept is from the publicity of The Communist Manifesto to Das Kapital and its manuscripts.The works of this period fully reflect Marx's development process in which the basic connotation of the concept of "real men" has been enriched in the investigation and analysis of the various revolutionary movements in reality and of the historical course and objective laws of the capitalist development.These three historical periods completely and completely outline the historical track of Marx's concept of "real men".The basic connotation of Marx's concept of "real men" is elucidated in the third chapter.Firstly,the "real men" is the“practical men”.The real men's needs is the fundamental driving force of material practice activities to transform the object world.Real men's material practice activities generate human beings themselves.Human material practice activities are real men's basic attributes and existing ways.Practicality is the general character of the "real men".Secondly,the "real men" is the "social men"."Real men" are person who generate,active and develops in a certain social relationship.Sociality is the essential attribute of the "real men".Thirdly,the "real men" is the "historical men".the "real men" is “person who act in history”,that is,person who active and develop in a certain history.Historicity is an important feature of the "real men".All in all,"real men" are people who are engaged in activities in a certain historical stage and in certain social relations.These three connotations constitute the basic connotation of Marx's theory of "real man".The value orientation of Marx's concept of "real men" is examined and analyzed in the fourth chapter.Marx's concept of "real man" is based on the full investigationand analysis of the objective law of the historical development of human society,and the actual situation and the historical process of the development of capitalism.It is the theoretical quality of Marx's concept of "real men" to pay close attention to realistic people and their realistic fate.It is the fundamental value orientation of the concept to Seek for the complete liberation and free and comprehensive development of each individual in reality.There are three innovation points in this paper.Firstly,from the perspective of understanding deeply the basic connotation and theoretical contribution of Feuerbach's concept of "real men",It is explored deeply important base why Feuerbach's philosophy can become pointing of Marx concept of "real men",reiterates that "the real men" is the starting point,the center and the destination of the study of Marxism.
