From the first music textbook Le method of enlightenment written and edited by churchman in China in 1872 to the establishment of People's Republic of China,music textbook in China went through a process from zero to one,from imitation to creation alone.Hence,studying music textbook and its localization,has significance for theory and practice.The whole article will take the 3 education system reform in China as the background,which is Renyin Guimao Syetem,Renzi Guichou System and Renxu System,to divide the paper into introduction and four chapters to elaborate the changes and reforms of school music education system and the localization of music textbook.Introduction explains education system,music textbook and localization,and clears up literature review,illustrates study space,meaning of study,and methods of study,builds the structure of the article,making basis for the study of the article.The first chapter mainly analyzes the change of attitude to music subject of Qing Government,from neglect to think much,by the end of Qing Dynasty,when Renyin Guimao System was issued.This chapter also compares the difference between textbooks written and edited by churchman,government and Chinese people on the intention and content,indicating the hard trials of music textbook localization in early times.Besides,the rising of publishing used to help promote music textbook.The second chapter mainly elaborates the issue of Renzi Guichou System in early time of Republic of China,preliminary establishment of school music education system and the progress that music textbook localization made in trials.In this chapter we believe that even though music textbook was influenced by the west,it already started to explore a way of localization to combine the west and the east.And the rising of publishing had a more distinct effect on music textbook popularization under this education system.The third chapter mainly discusses the reform of Renxu Syetem in Public of China time,development of school music education system,and the deepening of music textbook localization evolvement.The optimization of school music education system,especially the inspection of editing of textbook,made localization of music textbook faster and faster;the local characteristics appeared in both content and formation;competition in publishing also push music textbook to develop fast.The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the reform of school music education system in World War II and the afterwards internal wars of China,making the written and editing of music textbook more rational,and matching in the concept with the situation of the country in that time.More national factors were added in both in content and formation,to meet the demand for broadcasting patriotism and matching the situation.This had broadened the connotation of localization of music textbook.Wars made great stoke to publishing,making music textbook drastically decreased,but the content more realistic.After three times of reform and wars,Chinese music textbook went out an evolving path from folk to government,monotonousness to diversity,none standard to standard.In nature,music textbook has already transformed from songs albums adored by the folk into important tools used for music education by the government,and witnessed the transformation road of Chinese musiceducation history from the end of Qing Dynasty to Republic of China.
