Negative cognitive bias is an important reason for the emergence, development and maintenance of mental illness. The logic of traditional cognitive behavioral therapy is to solve the emotional and behavioral problems by challenging the individual's existing negative thoughts and changing or mitigating the existing negative cognitive bias(ie,mitigating negative bias).they have good short-term effects, they have shortcomings such as poor mid-and long-term effects and high recurrence rates.Following the mindfulness,self-compassion has been attracted the attention of clinical psychologists as a promising method of effect on mitigating negative bias.Selfcompassion is give the care and compassion for yourself and your own difficulties or deficiencies.Studies have shown that there is a significant positive correlation between self-sympathy and happiness;there is a significant negative correlation between selfsympathy and mental illness.and self-compassion plays an important role in adolescent mental health prevention. At present, clinical psychologists have developed some selfcompassion intervention methods, and have been initially verified in clinical and nonclinical fields. However, the relationship between self-compassion and negative bias has not yet been fully explained, and the internal mechanism of self-compassion is still unclear. This study focuses on the relationship between self-compassion and negative bias, and the effect of mitigating negative bias of self-compassion intervention, and conducts a series of experimental studies. It mainly consists of three studies with a total of nine experiments.Study 1 mainly investigates the differences between the high and low trait self-compassion groups in the negative cognitive bias.Experiments 1-3 use the cluetarget paradigm, the explicit memory re-recognition paradigm, word sentence association paradigm classical behavioral experimental paradigm,And assist in the use of negative thinking, negative emotional questionnaire,This purpose is mainly to examine the differences between negative traits(attention bias, memory bias, interpretation bias, negative meditation, automated thinking)and negative emotions(depression)in high traits and low trait self-compassion groups.Study 2 mainly investigates the influence of state self-compassion on the negative bias of low selfcompassion individuals.Experiments 4-6 use classic self-compassion-induced method to induce low self-compassion and individual state self-compassion.The difference between the induced group(state self-compassion group)and the control group was attention bias, memory bias, and interpretation bias.Study 3 examines the effectiveness of the system's self-compassion intervention in the mitigating negative bias.In experiments 7-9,the intervention group was intervened by a three-week online selfcompassion intervention program, and the control group was set up,to examine the effect of mitigating negative bias of the intervention group in attention bias, memory bias, and interpretation bias; The questionnaire was used to track the intervention group one month or three months after the experiment. In this way,the trend of the negative and negative emotions of the intervention group was investigated to examine the midterm effect of self-compassion intervention;Through the analysis of background data, feedback questionnaires, logs, and interview data, this paper examines the feasibility and acceptability of this online self-compassion intervention. The results show that:(1)trait self-compassion has significant influence on attention, memory and interpretation bias.Compared with the high-trait selfcompassion group, the low-trait self-compassion group is more difficult to relieve from negative stimuli(Experiment 1);the accurate recognition rate for negative vocabulary is higher, and the accurate recognition rate for positive vocabulary is lower(Experiment 2);The recognition rate of benign interpretation vocabulary is lower, and the negative interpretation vocabulary recognition rate is higher(Experiment 3);negative meditation, automated thinking, and depression scores are higher(Experiment 1-3).It indicates that there are obvious differences in cognitive bias and emotional bias in the high and low trait self-compassion groups.(2)The self-compassion short-term induction method can effectively induce state self-compassion;the induced group and the control group have significant differences in behavioral indicators of attention bias, memory bias, and interpretation bias(Experiment 4-6),These indicated induction state self-compassion produces a degree of the effect of mitigating negative bias.(3)Three-week online selfcompassion intervention can effectively improve the self-compassion level of low selfcompassion;compared with the control group, the intervention group has a significant the effect of mitigating negative bias in attention bias experiment, memory bias experiment, and interpretation bias experiment.(Experiments 7-9);the pre-and postself-compassion changes in the intervention group were significantly negatively correlated with negative and negative emotional changes, and negative cognitive changes were positively correlated with negative emotional changes; The tracking results show that the self-compassion intervention has a good mid-term effect;the intervention group scored higher than the expected criteria for the feasibility and acceptability of this three-week online self-compassion intervention.Studies have shown that trait self-compassion is an important factor leading to negative cognitive bias and negative emotion bias towards individual differences;Stateful self-compassion induced by induction has a significant impact on negative cognitive bias;Three weeks online self-compassion intervention has obvious the effect of mitigating negative bias, and the mid-term effect is good, and the participants have a higher acceptance of this intervention. In summary, this study systematically explores the effective methods of mitigaing negative bias from the perspective of selfcompassion, further enriches the relevant theories of negative bias and self-compassion,and these provide theoretical and empirical evidence for self-compassionate interventions in non-clinical and clinical areas;provide a certain reference for the construction of mental health education and the theory of social citizenship mentality in China.
