Facial negative physical self refers to the negative cognition,the negative emotions experienced,and the corresponding behavioral adjustments made by individuals who are dissatisfied with their appearance.Because of the deviation of self-body cognition,people with facial negative physical self pay more attention to and remember the negative information related to appearance,which will cause negative emotions to the body,and produce psychological and behavioral problems such as automatic thinking.This study is divided into three parts:In the first part,600 senior high school students in Chongqing were surveyed by NPSS-A and ATQ to explore the relationship between facial negative physical self and automatic thinking,and to understand the thinking characteristics of senior high school students with facial negative physical self.Thirty senior high school students and 30 senior high school students with negative physical appearance were screened out respectively.Attention bias and memory bias experiments were conducted through binaural auditory interference paradigm and learning-recognition paradigm to explore the characteristics of attention and memory.Finally,combined with the cognitive characteristics of high school students with facial negative physical self obtained from the previous two parts of the study,the mindfulness-based intervention is designed to improve the body image of high school students with facial negative physical self.The results are as follows:(1)The scores of automatic thinking in the high group of facial negative physical self were significantly higher than those in the low group,and there was a significant positive correlation between facial negative physical self and automatic thinking in high school students.(2)The number of masking errors in the facial negative physical self-high school students was higher than that in the normal control group.The number of masking errors of negative appearance words was larger than that of positive appearance words and neutral words;the neutral word probe response time was longer than positive appearance words.Facial negative physical self-high school students survival in the attention bias on negative appearance information.(3)Recognition accuracy: The high school students with facial negative physical self had significantly higher recognition accuracy of negative appearance words than positive appearance words,while the control group had significantly higher recognition accuracy of neutral words than appearance words.Recognition sensitivity: High school students with facial negative physical self were better at identifying negative words,while the control group was better at identifying neutral words than appearance words.Response bias: The main effect and interaction effect of part of speech and experimental group are not significant.Facial negative physical self high school students survival in the memory bias of negative appearance information.(4)There was no significant difference in the negative physical self-score between the experimental group and the control group before the intervention.After the intervention,the negative physical self-score of the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the untreated intervention group.In the first study,a questionnaire survey found that facial negative physical self-high school students are more likely to produce automatic thinking;In the second and third research,the experimental method is used to further discover the facial negative physical self-high school students survival in the attention and memory bias of the negative appearance information.This attention to negative information can better explain the facial negative physical self-high school students' automatic thinking;Study 4 found that combined with the cognitive characteristics of the facial negative physical self-high school students,the mindfulness-based intervention can effectively improve the negative physical self-state of high school students.
