This paper mainly studies the influence and Enlightenment of Russian and Soviet painting on the development of Chinese oil painting, focusing on the Russian realistic painting methods and techniques and the communication and acceptance of Soviet socialist realistic creative ideas in New China after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and on the basis of summing up experience and drawing lessons. Finally, the conclusion is drawn that Chinese oil painting can not be "westernized" in its entirety, nor can it follow the trend behind the Soviet Union.Only on the premise of absorbing the advantages of all, integrating the freehand spirit and imagery language of Chinese traditional painting, and taking an independent road from Chinese characteristics and style, can it remain in the forest of world art forever. The introduction points out that realism is an important way for literature and art to grasp the world.Realistic painting has also been the longest lasting and most influential art trend since the nineteenth century.Realistic painting emphasizes authenticity, objectivity and typicality, which not only has a strong aesthetic character, but also has an organic communication with nature and the human mind. This part mainly discusses the conceptual connotation of realism and the development of critical realism and socialist realism.By comparing the views of relevant scholars at home and abroad,it puts forward its own views on the successor failure of China's learning of realism and socialist realism, and further elaborates the intention of this study' meaning and value. The first chapter traces back to the rich educational background and development pattern of early Chinese oil painting. In the 100 years since the May 4th Movement,China's aesthetic culture has undergone significant changes and turning points, which are particularly prominent in the oil painting art representing the advanced and revolutionary ideas of the West.European realism oil painting and various modernist styles shine together in the twentieth century. The development of Chinese oil painting in Europe, the United States and Japan, which was inherited by teachers, originally had a lot ofacademic affinities and styles, experienced a relatively free and diverse stage of development in the first half of the twentieth century. The second chapter focuses on the realistic conditions and historical opportunities of cultural communication. On the one hand,it talks about the national character and artistic characteristics caused by Russia's geopolitics, religious culture and the complex relationship between Russia and Eurasian culture. On the other hand,it elaborates the influence of the cultural and artistic communication carried by the Soviet Union because of the export revolution on China, and the basis of the literary and artistic policy formulated by China because of the international and domestic situation and tasks.Chapter 3 discusses a series of measures taken under the conditions of comprehensive "learning from the Soviet Union",such as theoretical preheating, sending foreign students and domestic training, which greatly promoted the formation of Chinese realistic and socialist realistic painting creation methods and ideas,as well as a scientific and systematic oil painting teaching system.Under the tremendous influence of Russian Soviet painting guided by Marxist literary theory, realism and socialist realism gradually become the mainstream of Chinese painting. The great chauvinism of the Soviet Union decided that it was imperative to export revolutionary ideas and literary and artistic ideas to the outside world,as well as the overall learning and acceptance of Russian and Soviet paintings by China in order to jointly confront the West.To what extent did it exert its influence on Chinese oil paintings and how did China get out of the dilemma of following trend? A series of issues such as the road to independent development.Chapter ? discusses the development of realism between China and Russia in the new era and the exchange and assistance between the two countries under equal conditions. With China's economic reform and full opening up,the western modernist painting trend in China has triggered a turn of aesthetic interest, but also because of the trust crisis caused by the collapse of the Soviet Union, leading to a comprehensive criticism of realism and socialist realism between China and Russia. Both Chineseand Russian artists and theorists are actively reflecting on the process of communication and acceptance of realistic and socialist realistic paintings between the two countries in order to find a healthy pattern of painting development in the new era.The fifth chapter focuses on the impact of Russian and Soviet painting on the development of Chinese oil painting. On the one hand,it summarizes experience and draws lessons,on the other hand,it also seeks inspiration from the development of Russian and Soviet oil painting. We should not only learn from the excellent techniques and advanced ideas of Russian and Soviet paintings, but also combine them with Chinese cultural traditions, national spirit and the theme of the new era to create an independent and Chinese-style oil painting art.We should not only look at the world and learn from all the advantages, but also adhere to national self-confidence,adhere to "foreign for China" and "use the past for the present",and walk out of the road of development of Chinese oil painting with both historical and humanistic connotations and realistic connotations. The last part is the conclusion.Focusing on the central topic of the influence of Russian and Soviet painting on the development of Chinese oil painting, this paper conducts in-depth and detailed analysis and research through field investigation, character interviews and literature research, and draws the conclusion that Russia(Soviet Union)acrossEurope and Asia has millions of geographic, historical and ethnic genes with China.Because of the close ideological and revolutionary ideals,Chinese revolution and literature and art were supported by Russia(Soviet Union)and deeply influenced by it.With the help of the united front of Marxist ideology and its powerful national power, exporting and transmitting Russian culture and art to the world to expand its influence on the whole world became the basic national policy of the Soviet Union at that time, and coincided with the idea that China was eager to break through the Western blockade and gain world recognition, and quickly formed. However, the cultural chauvinism of the Soviet Union and the independent literary and artistic policy of the Communist Party of China clashed, and China began its own exploration of oil painting in the voice of the "double hundred" policy and the "two-in-one" principle. After entering the new century, great changes have taken place in the development pattern of oil paintings in China and Russia, and realism oil paintings have ushered in new development. In the context of emphasizing cultural self-confidence and road self-confidence in the new era,and on the premise of adhering to the ontological language of oil painting,Chinese oil painting should constantly integrate the group aesthetic consciousness and national will of the nation, show the face of the times and Chinese spirit, and contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to the development of world culture, especially painting art.
