A Study Of The Koguryo Impression Of Ly Dynasty Scholars

Koguryo was an important minority political power in ancient Northeast China.It is also an important part of the composition of our multi-ethnic country.The record and research of the history of Koguryo by the scholars of Ly Dynasty has benefited the study of Koguryo in modern China and abroad.However,due to the complexity of the content,the opinions of different scholars are different,and the process of textual research varies.Therefore,it is necessary to rectify important issues.On the basis of the collected works of Ly Dynasty,this paper sorts out and analyzes the position of Koguryo in the genealogy of Korean ancient history,the important human geography and natural geography in the Koguryo period,the origin of Koguryo nationality and the legend of founding the nation.It is expected to contribute to the development of research in Goguryeo.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into five chapters:The introduction part mainly introduces the origin of the topic selection.At the same time,it summarizes the current research situation of this topic in academic circles at home and abroad,summarizes the shortcomings of the current research,narrates the research ideas,methods,innovations and difficulties of the paper.Chapter 1,Koguryo's place in the genealogy of ancient history constructed by Ly Dynasty's scholars.Ly Dynasty inherited from Gaoli Dynasty,and In the ancient history pedigree before Wang's Korea,Ly Dynasty scholars have three views on the position of Koguryo in Korean history.First,the single-system ancient history pedigree,that is,from Tanjun Korea to Ly Dynasty,follows the same line,regardless of region or ethnic origin.But there is a dispute about the inheritance relationship between four counties of Han and Sanhan;Second,the two-system genealogy of ancient history,because of the irreconcilable problems between four counties of Han and Sanhan,some Ly Dynasty scholars realized that the ancient history genealogy of the KoreanPeninsula should be divided into two systems:the north and the south.Third,the multi-system ancient history pedigree.Some Ly Dynasty scholars broke the theory of the two systems of the North and South,mixed with different regional systems and different ethnic origin systems to build the Korean Peninsula ancient history pedigree,which put Koguryo in the Fuyu system.Chapter 2,Ly Dynasty scholars' understanding of Koguryo's historical geography.The study of historical geography is the foundation of Ly Dynasty scholars' Koguryo's historical territory concept.Ly Dynasty scholars have different views on the historical and geographical location of Koguryo's major cities.There are two main views on the location of He Shenggu City,namely,the Liaodong theory of China north of the Yalu River and the Chengchuan theory of Korean Peninsula south of the Yalu River.There are five main views of the location of Anshi City,namely Wandu,Longgang,Anzhou,Phoenix and Han'an.There are four main viewpoints of Wandu,namely Anshi,Jiangjie,Ji'an,and Ningyuan County Jianshan.There are mainly five kinds of views on the location of domestic cities,that is,Bu Er(Bunai),Yizhou(Linzhou),Wuchi Mountain City,Jiulian City,and Wandu city(Ji'an).The Ly Dynasty scholars believed that Pyongyang had upper Pyongyang,lower Pyongyang,and south Pyongyang.These arguments are partly historical,but mostly unsubstantiated historical suppositions.Chapter 3,Ly Dynasty's understanding of the origin of the Koguryo nationality.In the historical works compiled by Ly Dynasty scholars,there are two views on the origin of the Koguryo: First,Koguryo originated from Fuyu;second,Koguryo originated from Tanjun.However,the two viewpoints failed to distinguish the "ancestor source" from the "ethnic source" and replaced the national "ethnic source" with the royal "ancestor source".Although some Ly Dynasty scholars recognized that Huimu were the majority of the population in Koguryo,they did not put forward the view that the origin of Huimu in Koguryo was Huimu.In fact,the Koguryo were formed by the integration of a large number of other nationalities.Chapter 4,Ly Dynasty's scholars' understanding of the legend of the founding of Koguryo.This chapter divides the legend of the founding of Koguryo into the legend of the origin of Koguryo and the legend of the founding of Zhumeng.Before the Li Dynasty,the origin legends of Koguryo and the founding of Zhumeng in Koguryo had both been created in successive stages.However,while Ly Dynasty scholars accepted the official history of the origin legends of Koguryo represented by the History of three kingdoms,there are also questions raised by Ly Dynasty scholars about the way in which King Zhumeng of Koguryo and the Golden Frog were born,the relationship between Zhumeng,the Golden Frog,Hae Mo-su of Buyeo,Xie Fu Lou,Yuhwa,King Zhumeng and Dongming.The legend of the founding of the People's Republic of Zhumeng in Koguryo in Jin Fu Shi's the History of three kingdoms was also accepted by Ly Dynasty's scholars.But for the process of Zhu Meng building his country in Zu Ben,Ly Dynasty scholars have great differences,never reached a consensus.Conclusion.This paper summarizes the basic viewpoints of Ly Dynasty Scholars on the genealogy,historical geography,ethnic origin,founding legend of Koguryo,and the characteristics of Ly Dynasty scholars' impression of Koguryo.This paper analyzes the causes of the emergence of Ly Dynasty's view of Koguryo and its influence on the current Koguryo controversies problem.Points out the points to note when using Ly Dynasty scholars to record historical materials on the Koguryo issue.
