Research On Folk Tales Type In Northeast China

Folk tales are an art form popular with the masses,it is also the main way for the masses to educate themselves.Folk tales have extraordinary artistic charm,not only to be loved by the masses for ever,but also nourish the writer literatures.Countless writers have been inspired by folk tales,or direct adapt folk tales,they produced excellent works.Chinese folk tales are abound,full range,and high-quality goods of many.They have profoundly affected the Chinese people's spiritual outlook and aesthetic taste.Chinese folk tales are the glorious cultural symbol and witness of China.Because of the rich information of folk customs,history and culture,folk stories attract the attention of folklore,anthropology and ethnology.However,its unique artistic style and popular aesthetic taste fail to attract the same attention from litterateur and aesthetes.This is a pity.The reason lies in the lack of artistic skills in folk stories.Folk tales have the characteristics of typical and plot pattern.It seems artistically crude,and it's widespread and enduring,there will be a reason.This paper aims to explore the inner structure of folk tales and reveal the reasons for their enduring charm.The number of folk tales is enormous,the study of folk tales must first limit certain texts to samples.This paper selects folk tales from northeast China as the research samples.As part of the great homeland of China,Northeast China almost has all "Chinese folk tales type",and the folk tales in northeast China have their own regional characteristics and national styles.It can not only represent Chinese folk stories,but also reflect the unique regional culture.The three northeastern provinces and neighboring hebei,shandong and Inner Mongolia have published their own Integration of Chinese Folk Tales,and most of the counties and cities in the three northeast provinces have local integration of folk tales,extensive efforts have been made to collect and collate folk tales.It has laid a good foundation for the corresponding research work.This paper studies the folk tales of northeast China from the perspective of "story types".Folk tales are colorful but repetitive.Stories of the same type appear everywhere in different derivatives.The characters,plots and circumstances are different from different texts,but the structure of the story is surprisingly consistent.Each specific folk tale is based on the story type structure as the core,it integrates local folk customs,history,culture and other factors to form.Capturing the story type is key to the story's charm.So this paper examines the folk tales of northeast China from the perspective of "story type",mining story structure,and interpret the story motif,and analysis type evolution,and explore the value of stories.In order to reveal the evolution of folk tales in northeast China,this paper compares the four most common story types in northeast China,namely "snake husband"," Smart women","Cinderella" and "dog ploughing",with those in other parts of China.These four types of stories have mostly changed in the northeast as follows: The sex change of the protagonist;Protagonist ability change;Intermediate identity change;Cruel plot;the disappearance of the plot that out of customs in northeast China;multiple story types are combined into one story,etc.These changes come from the transformation of folk tales in the northeast,it reflects the unique historical culture,folk customs and aesthetic taste of northeast China.The northeast had long been wild,the people of northeast China are deeply influenced by mythological thinking,life is difficult and the people are simple.Thus,the stories imported into northeast China become more vigorous and full of lofty aesthetic interest.This article uses the Soviet scholar Propp's folk story theory to analyze the function,actants and rounds of folk tales in northeast China.The author finds that although there is great universality in propp's theory of folk tales,but there are obstacles to dealing with folk tales in northeast China.Propp suggests that all magic stories have 31 functions,and the author found that there are 33 functions of folk tales in northeast China,where the words "spy" and "learn" are combined into "learn"," harm" and "non-dividing requirement" are combined into " harm",add "vow","windfall","need" and "exchange" functions.These functions are divided into three categories: protagonist function,anti-corner function and state function.Most of them come in pairs.The characters in the story have seven kinds of actants: adversary,giver,helper,seeker,dispatcher,protagonist and false protagonist.Using the western modern narrative theory to analyze the relationship between the seven actants,and found that the seven actants were composed as follows:(?)Among them,the helper is divided into assistant and anti-assistant,The giver and helper are merged into assistants,both protagonist and adversary can act as recipients,adversary and false protagonist merged into adversary,added winners and losers to mark the role of actants in the story.Story rounds are marked by "start function" and "end function",use the predicate function to advance the round.The story rounds can be divided into three parts: "breaking life balance","trying to restore life balance" and "restoring life balance".The "trying to restore life balance " section is broken down into four rounds: the "win the treasure" round,"defeat the enemy" round,"get rid of the hunt" round,"solve the problem" round.And by connecting these rounds,discover the logical relationship of folk tales in northeast China is that maybe deterioratio? deterioration process ? cause deterioration ?maybe improvement? improvement process ? improvement.Folk tales almost always follow this logic,this is the fundamental reason why millions of folk tales are familiar with each other.Story types consist of motifs.This paper attempts to interpret the four most common motifs in the folk tales of northeast China: gratitude,negative kindness,impersonation and different marriage.From the perspective of folklore,psychology and aesthetics,this paper discusses its origin and the reason of its repeated appearance and popularity.It can be found that the northeast people are deeply influenced by the thought of "harmony between man and nature" and the religious thought represented by shamanism.They revere nature,pursue harmony between man and nature,and oppose destruction of nature.The folk tales of northeast China are a treasure house of art.In terms of mythological thinking,folk tradition,story structure and people's standpoint,northeast folk stories all provide valuable resources and set up successful models for writers' literature.In order to create works of literature and art with Chinese style that are popular with the people,we must learn from folk stories.We must develop and make good use of the precious resource of northeast folk tales.This paper discusses the differences between the folk tales in northeast China and the same type of folk tales in other parts of China,to explore the cultural connotation of the motif that makes up the story type,comprehensively and systematically reveals the characteristics and causes of folk tales in northeast China,and some suggestions are put forward for its development and utilization.This paper examines the applicability of Propp's theory of folk tales in northeast China,modified the specific point of his theory,draw a chart of actants,generalizes the types of folktale rounds,and reveals the internal logical relationship of the rounds of folk tales.These works to some extent fill the gap in the research of folk tales in northeast China.It is of certain value to further understand the artistic rules of folk tales,and it is value to develop and utilize folk tales resources.
