Compared with the previous generation,Song Dynasty painting pays more attention to the thinking and presentation of "Tao" and "Li",as well as the worship and pursuit of "Rhyme" and "Yige".The picture is often filled with the previously rare philosophy of life,revealing a silent philosophical mood.The literary tendency of Song Dynasty painting,the pursuit of "Tao" and "Li",the shift of painting focus and theme,and the shift of painters' mentality and vision caused by the move of the court to the south in the Southern Song Dynasty,all kinds of factors lead to the large expansion of the blank area in Song Dynasty painting,the empty and desolate scene layout,the removal of gorgeous and ostentatious exterior decoration,and the conversion to simple and simple,introspective and quiet view.The whole picture is empty,quiet and speechless,which makes people realize the vast world and the boundless universe.The painters in Song Dynasty not only pursued the similarity of form,but also paid more attention to "the meaning of painting",respected the meaning of "less than more",left a lot of blank to carry the emotional space and imagination.Song Dynasty painting not only pays attention to blank space in composition,but also in the process of creation,painting and artistic conception.It is full of wisdom of blank space.The picture is full of air and breath,with simple lines and ink colors,but also varied and colorful.The thought of leaving blank in Chinese painting is corresponding to the ontology in traditional Chinese philosophy.For example,Laozi's "Wuwu" in Taoism,Liezi's "intangibility" and Zhuangzi's "Wuji";Vajra Sutra "should have no place to live","Heart Sutra" color is the sky "and" Tan Sutra "self nature vacuum";Wang Bi's "guihao" in metaphysics of Wei and Jin Dynasties,Zhu Zi's "Li" in Neo Confucianism of song and Ming Dynasties,etc.The relationship between the virtual and the real,the black and the white in the picture are corresponding to the discussion of the "universal life theory" in Chinese philosophy,such as the unity of opposites of the yin-yang relationship in the book of changes,the constant circulation of various factors in the five elements theory,Lao Zhuang's dialectical view,the Confucian view of ethics and so on.Chinese painting is not only an art technique,but also rises to the level of "Tao".Every link in painting contains the wisdom of traditional Chinese philosophy.This paper takes the blank treatment of Song Dynasty painting as the research object,combined with the in-depth analysis of Chinese traditional philosophy,and explores the blank idea contained in various parts and aspects of Song Dynasty painting,such as ink,composition,image,creation state,transformation from natural objects to artistic image.It also analyzes the importance of the painters in Song Dynasty on the external skill and spiritual cultivation of painting,cultivates the emptiness and purity of the mind,influences the emptiness of the picture with the emptiness of the mind,achieves "emptiness and whiteness",and then "connects all things" to draw the verve and spirituality of all things in the world.
