The Variorum Of The Material Of The Book Of Songs In Unearthed Documents

The Book of Songs is the earliest poetry collection in China.It was compiled in the spring and Autumn period and became one of the core classics of Confucianism.In addition to The Book of Songs in the handed down texts,there are also a large number of The Book of Songs in unearthed documents.It is necessary to study the materials of these unearthed documents in combination with The Book of Songs in the handed down texts in order to make them be proved each other.The comparative study of these two systems can promote the development of philology and philology.This paper collects the text of The Book of Songs in the unearthed documents such as bronze inscription,Shiguwen,Xinyang bamboo slips,Guodian bamboo slips,Shangbo bamboo slips,Qinghua bamboo slips,Hong Kong bamboo slips,Fuyang bamboo slips,Wuwei bamboo slips,Han dynasty stone Classics,Han dynasty bronze mirror,Mawangdui silk books,Dunhuang manuscript and Yixi documents of Turpan.In addition,the earliest version of The Book of Songs in the bamboo slips held by Anhui University is also included in this paper.This paper is arranged in the order of Mao Poetry and compares them one by one.This paper lists various theories and chooses the best and makes a brief explanation where it is necessary to supplement them.This paper discusses the ancient Chinese characters,modern Chinese characters,Han,Wei and Six Dynasties popular form of characters and so on.It uses the comparison of the characters to promote the overall research of literature.The research contents are as follows:First,based on the investigation of the different texts in The Book of Songs,the paper concluded that there are nine kinds of different texts in The Book of Songs and we explicated different texts.Second,the paper compared the unearthed documents,the ancient characters,the modern characters and the common characters in order to explore the laws of the changes of the characters.Third,the paper made a detailed analysis of the unearthed documents and inspected Mao poetry and made reasonable speculation on the formation of the present The Book of Songs and the changes of the present The Book of Songs in various times.Fourth,we should fully combine the unearthed documents,reflect on the traditional interpretation of The Book of Songs and hope to make a more reasonable interpretation of some chapters of The Book of Songs.
