Issues On The Normalizaiton Of Dong Language And Its Script System

The Dong language is the traditional local language of the dong people,But the DongWriting wasn't created until the founding of People's Republic of China.Since its creation and trial implementation,Dong Language has played a critical role in the educational development and cultural inheritance of the Dong.With the rapid development of our society in an all-round way,the Dong have also undergone tremendous changes in the economy,education and culture.And the people's linguistic needs have been constantly enriched and increased.To investigate the usage status and new needs of the Dong language in contemporary Dongsociety,to sum up the experience and lessons of several decades' Trial Implementation,as well as the achievements and problems in the area of teaching,media and news publishing of Donglanguage,which will help to effectively make a plan and promote the modernization of Donglanguage to better serve the Dong people.Based on this idea,this thesis takes the Dong language words standardization as the research object,including the revision and perfection of the Dong Language Program(Draft),standardization of the pronunciation and vocabulary and grammar,the development of Wen Pinyin Orthography,the standardization of the Dong wordlist,as well as the people names,places and new terms which relate to the application in society.Then we'll draft the standardization proposal for the Dong language,which would help to promote the standardization and the contemporary application of Dong language.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects.Firstly,this paper combs the related research of Dong language in the past decades,summarizes the achievements of Dong language research,and points out the serious shortage of social application research in Dong language research.At the same time,it also combs the trial implementation of the standardizations work and practices of the Dong language in the Dongnationality area since the 1950 s,summarizes the achievements of Dong language in the fields of bilingual teaching,social literacy,press and publishing,and points out various problems in the trial implementation process,and analyses the reasons.Secondly,this paper mainly analyses the deficiencies and shortcomings of the "DongLanguage Program(Draft)" and give recommendations for revision based on the various study.Thirdly,by comparing and analyzing the writing of Dong documents in several existingDong dictionaries,newspapers and magazines,and TV news,this paper points out the problems in the writing of Dong documents,points out the importance of formulating systematic rules of Dong orthography,and absorbs the relevant theories of orthography at home and abroad,and refers to the relevant rules and norms of “The Dong Wen Pinyin Orthography”.Then proposes the principles,methods and ideas and draft the recommendation of “The Dong Wen Pinyin Orthography”.Fourthly,considering the modern social application of the Dong language,this paper also puts forward the standardization of the Dong wordlist,as well as the people names,places and new terms.Meanwhile,this paper collects and sorts out the first batch of "Dong Language Standard Word List"(draft proposals)according to the revision proposals of "Dong Language Program" and " The Dong Wen Pinyin Orthography”.
