Modern warfare is a system-of-systems combat under complex electromagnetic environment which exhibits significant characters of large scale,large number,various types of combat units and complex environment.In order to meet the development of modern war,it is urgent to carry out research on system-of-systems combat.Under this background,system-of-systems combat simulation has become a new application requirement in the field of radar modeling and simulation.Meanwhile,compared with the traditional modeling methods and simulation techniques,it brings great challenges such as simulation confidence requirement,extraordinary contradiction between simulation precision and efficiency,and high requirements of generalization level on simulation model.Facing these challenges,the core problems of radar modeling and simulation technology mainly including electromagnetic environment effect modeling,multi-level and multi-granularity modeling,and general simulation technology should be resolved.In this work,the simulation methods,simulation models,simulation technologies and simulation applications are intensively studied for the system-of-systems combat in complex electromagnetic environment.These researches provide technical supports for the application of radar model.In the aspect of modeling and simulation methodology,the research on inter-hierarchy simulation method of radar electromagnetic environment effect is carried out to conduct the application of multi-level model in system-of-systems combat simulation.Firstly,according to the requirements of radar simulation confidence in system-of-systems combat simulation,the modeling method,concept and level division of the complex electromagnetic environment effect of radar are established.Then,a inter-hierarchy simulation method of radar electromagnetic environment effect is proposed,which provides a solution for the application of the radar model in system-of-systems combat simulation.In the aspect of simulation model,the work studies the modeling method of electromagnetic environment effect from the engineering level and the engagement level respectively.In engineering level,the modeling method of electromagnetic environment effect based on mechanism analysis is developed.With the method of mechanism analysis the effects of complex electromagnetic environment on radar performance are investigated.The model considering the effects of complex electromagnetic environment is “sensitive”to electromagnetic environment,the simulation results are more close to actual combat.Finally,with the comparison between simulated data and measured data,the validity of the model is verified which provides a solid support for the radar simulation in system-of-systems combat simulation.In the war level,two kinds of engagement level modeling methods based on mechanism simplified model and data statistical modeling are developed.The basic principle,key technique and realization of statistical modeling are given.Furthermore,the examples of two methods are given.These demonstrations verify the model validation and provide a high level support for radar simulation in system-of-systems combat.In the aspect of simulation technology,the general simulation frame of the radar "black and white box" based on the BCORIS method is proposed.It can realize the reusing and expanding requirements of the system by hot point design and freezing point design.In the application of simulation,the research of engineering level simulation efficiency optimization technology is carried out,which effectively supports the modeling work of the engagement level.Then,a modeling method of radar in actual combat environment is established,which aims to solve the bottleneck problem of “no actual combat radar data ” and “ contradiction between simulation precision and efficiency”.Finally,an example of the application of radar modeling and simulation is presented and verifies the research results.The modeling method of electromagnetic environment effect and inter-hierarchy “effect modeling,simulation and application”presented in this dissertation,provides the guidance of model support and methodology for the modeling and simulation in the radar system.The modeling idea and inter-hierarchy simulation methods embodied in this dissertation can also be extended to other weapon systems similar to radar.
