Entering the 21 st century,with the continuous development of economic and political cooperation between Mongolia and China,the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has been further deepened,the high-level political exchanges between the two countries have become more frequent,the cooperation space in science,education and culture between the two countries has been further opened,and the friendship between Mongolia and China has been deepened.At the same time,due to the historical entanglement between the two countries and the divergence of national interests in reality,as well as interference from other countries in the world,Mongolia-China relations are constantly facing new challenges.Based on the need of objectively recognizing the history,reality and future trend of Mongolia-China relations,this paper intends to analyze the relationship between Mongolia and China since the beginning of the 21 st century,discuss the achievements and problems in the development of Mongolia-China relations in a multi-dimensional and deep-seated way,and predict the future of Mongolia-China relations,so as to further enhance the deep-seated relationship between Mongolia and China.To develop and strengthen friendly cooperation between the two countries and make contributions to a Chinese student from Mongolia.Besides the introduction,this paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter one,the reasons for the good neighborly relations between Mongolia and China.This part introduces the characteristics of Mongolia as a landlocked country,sparsely populated and in need of transformation and development,and analyzes the impact of the multipolarization of the world pattern and the wave of economic globalization on Mongolia's foreign policy.The chapter holds that Mongolia has decided to pursue a balanced foreign policy towards China in accordance with its own geographicalcharacteristics and changes in geopolitical environment.In addition,this part expounds Mongolia's interpretation of China's good-neighbourliness foreign policy,and makes a systematic study of the possible impact of China's rise on Mongolia's politics,security,economy and culture.The second chapter is about the new political relations between Mongolia and China.Mongolia attaches great importance to its diplomatic relations with China.The two countries have gone through several stages,from establishing good-neighborly and friendly intentions,to realizing political mutual trust to establishing strategic partnership,and finally formed a new type of political relations between Mongolia and China.This chapter studies in depth the development characteristics of Mongolia-China diplomatic relations,such as cooperation,mutual benefit and win-win situation,risk sharing and achievement sharing,and the development basis of mutual respect,equality and mutual benefit,political mutual trust and strategic cooperation.By interpreting the joint statement issued by the leaders of Mongolia and China on their high-level political visits,this part draws the conclusion that bilateral relations are developing positively.At the same time,it also puts forward the Countermeasures for developing the new-type political relations between Mongolia and China.The third chapter is the new security relationship between Mongolia and China.National strategic security plays an important role in the country,and is the fundamental guarantee for a country to develop its economy and enhance its political influence.For this reason,this part also expounds the new security relations between Mongolia and China from three aspects.First,it analyzes the characteristics and basis of the new traditional security relations between Mongolia and China.Second,it studies the achievements,obstacles and challenges faced by the development of the new traditional security relations between Mongolia and China,and measures to deal with them.Third,it discusses the following aspects: The development of non-traditional security relations between Mongolia and China.The fourth chapter is about the new economic relations between Mongolia and China.With the increasingly close political relations between Mongolia and China,the economic and trade relations between the two countries have also continued to develop,and cooperation in the economic field has been expanding.This chapter studies the complementarity of the new economic relations between Mongolia and China,the advantages of geo-economic cooperation and the measures for the comprehensive development of economic cooperation between the two countries.This section also describes the regular meeting between Mongolia and China,the role of Mongolia in promoting the economic corridor construction in Mongolia and China,and the docking of Mongolia's development strategy with China's "one belt and one road initiative",and so on to play a fundamental role in economic cooperation between the two countries.In addition,this chapter also analyzes the problems and causes in the development of economic relations between Mongolia and China,and puts forward countermeasures to solve the problems in the development of economic relations between Mongolia and China.The fifth chapter is about the new cultural relationship between Mongolia and China.On the basis of steady and healthy development of Mongolia China relations,cultural exchanges between the two countries are also deepening.This chapter expounds the new development of cultural exchanges between Mongolia and China,such as the continuous expansion of the scope of cultural exchanges between the two countries,the growing development of educational cooperation and the close exchange of science and technology;analyzes the motives for the good development of cultural exchanges between Mongolia and China,mainly because Mongolia-China trade promotes cultural exchanges between the two countries,and the cultural image of China.The dissemination of Mongolia and the homologous advantages of Mongolia and China's Inner Mongolia are also discussed,and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward to the problems of cooperation scope,misunderstanding between the two peoples and insufficient motivation of cultural exchange.The sixth chapter is about the prospects for the development of relations between Mongolia and China and the policy options of Mongolia.This chapter predicts the development prospects of the relations between Mongolia and China,and holds that in the future the economic and trade cooperation between Mongolia and China will be promoted continuously,the security and cooperation relations will be developed steadily,and the strategic cooperation relations between the two countries will be enriched constantly.Finally,this chapter also puts forward suggestions on China's policy toward Mongolia and the development of Mongolia-China relations,and holds that Mongolia should further deepen the strategic partnership of cooperation between Mongolia and China,and strengthen investment and infrastructure between Mongolia and China.In addition,in developing Mongolia-China relations,we should continue to expand the broad space for cooperation between the two countries and guard against the damage of "extreme democracy" to Mongolia-China relations.
