A Study On United Front Work Of Overseas Students Of China Communist Party Since The Founding Of People's Republic Of China

The united front is the political advantages and strategic guideline of the Chinese Communist Party to increase cohesion and gather strength,and the essential requirement of which is the great unity and consolidation,which solves the problems of public feeling and strength.The overseas students is an important object of the united front work,and the united front work of overseas students provides strong talent support and intellectual support for the development of the revolution,the construction and the reform of China.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core has attached great importance to overseas students and the united front work of overseas students.In 2015,President Xi Jinping stressed that overseas students is an important part of the talent team and a new point of strength on the work of the united front at the united front work conference of CPC central committee.This is the new instruction,new requirements and new deployment of the CPC Central Committee based on the reality of the united front work of overseas students.In the new era,better carrying out the united front work of overseas students and giving full play to the wisdom and strength of overseas students is of great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance for further consolidating and developing the most extensive patriotic united front,promoting the “four comprehensives”(comprehensively build a moderately prosperous society,comprehensively deepen reform,comprehensively implement the rule of law,and comprehensively strengthen Party discipline)strategic layout,and realizing the Chinese Dream of bringing about a great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This paper studies the united work of overseas students of Chinese Communist Party since the founding of the People?s Republic of China from the two dimensions of history and reality.As the object of the united work,the overseas students are also part of the intellectual group.Therefore,the united work of the overseas students is based on Marxist united front theory and Marxist intellectual theory.This paper systematically combs the concrete practice of the united front work of overseas students in the 70 years after the founding of the people's Republic of China,and firmly grasps the two main lines of the development of the united front work of overseas students: the main line of the historical process of the united front work of overseas students and the main line of the evolution of the united front policy of overseas students.In the past 70 years,the united front work of overseas students in China has gone through from the beginning,to the tortuous development,the stagnation,the gradual recovery of development,to the rapid development.The united front policy of overseasstudents has also experienced an evolution process of continuous adjustment,standardization and gradual optimization:from “ensuring return to China” to “encouraging return to China”,from emphasizing “return for service” to promoting simultaneously of “return for service” and “serve the country”,from “requiring to return home” to “choosing freely”,from “improving treatment” to “creating conditions and perfecting services”,and so on,which provides policy guarantee for attracting and gathering talents to serve the country and building socialist modernization.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,the Chinese Communist Party has applied valuable united front theory and wisdom to the united front work of overseas students.With the theme of “great unity and great consolidation” and adhering to the purpose of “concentrating and uniting people”,the Chinese Communist Party has carried out a series of work to encourage overseas students to return homeland and innovate the way of overseas students to serve the country worthily,and has achieved remarkable results and accumulated valuable historical experience.The final goal of the in-depth study of history lies in solving the problems existing in reality.Based on the local empirical investigation and national sample analysis,and integrating point and sphere,this paper focuses on the basic situation of the united front work of overseas students in the new era,analyzes the existing problems and external challenges in the united front work of overseas students in China at present,and then puts forward some countermeasures for the united front work of the overseas students in China in the new era from the aspects of strengthening the consciousness of the united front,perfecting the mechanism of the united front,strengthening the cultural identity,optimizing the united front environment and improving the methods of the united front,so as to provide theoretical references and policy suggestions for the united work of Chinese overseas students in the new era,continue to improve the scientific nature and effectiveness of the united front work of Chinese overseas students,and effectively enhance the united front effect of overseas students.
