Research On The United Front Work Of Overseas Chinese In The New Era

The 19 th CPC National Congress made the important political judgment that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered into a new era.Under the new historical orientation,more and more Chinese choose to go abroad.Their comprehensive strength is greater and the influence is more extensive in the countries they live.Therefore,the contribution of Chinese people worldwide united by united front work will make great sense to realize the renewal of the Chinese nation.First of all,this paper explains the core concepts of the new era,overseas Chinese and united front,analyzes the characteristics of overseas Chinese and the significance of the united front work of overseas Chinese under the new era background.Then,this paper introduces the present situation of the united front work of overseas Chinese from three dimensions including work layout,work object and work method,emphatically analyzes the problems and their reasons about the system,mechanism,ways and methods faced by the united front work of overseas Chinese in the new era.It also probes the new challenges to the united front work which brought by the the international situation and the change of overseas Chinese group with the development of the times.Aiming at the problems and the causes,this paper also discusses the feasible ways to develop the united front work of overseas Chinese in the new era from the aspects of completing the system and mechanism,consolidating work methods and play the role of overseas patriotic Chinese and their organizations better.
