Before The Reform And Opening Research On Deng Xiaoping's Thought Of Economic Construction(1949-1978)

The socialist construction of China is divided into two historical periods by taking reform and opening policy as the boundary.In essence,these two periods are practical explorations of the Party leading the people to build up socialism.If the leading organization of CPC(Central Party Committee)with Mao Zedong as its core has obtained original theoretical achievements in the process of exploring socialist construction,which provides theoretical preparation for the creation of socialism with Chinese characteristics,then,Deng Xiaoping,one of the primary members of CPC,has made significant historical contributions without doubt.The main basis for this is embodied in the series of his descriptions and expositions of economic construction from the founding of the PRC(People's Republic of China)to the beginning of the reform and opening policy.Focusing on the forming condition,reasons,measures as well as the author's view of Deng Xiaoping's thought of economic construction,this paper is divided into 6 chapters.The first chapter mainly studies the theoretical sources and historical conditions of Deng Xiaoping's economic construction thought.It is an important prerequisite for understanding this idea.Theoretical sources mainly include the thoughts of Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong in regard to the theory of socialist economic construction,and Deng Xiaoping's ideas on the economic construction of the base areas before the founding of the PRC.Historical conditions mainly include the experience and lessons of economic construction in New China and other countries.The second chapter mainly describes the important role of economic construction in the work of the party and the country.After the founding of PRC,Deng Xiaoping pointed out that economic construction is the most important task.After the establishment of the basic socialist system,he also pointed out that economic construction is the overall work of the party and the country.Only by developing the economy can the socialist system be consolidated.The third chapter focuses on the guiding principles and main countermeasures for the development of the national economy.The important status of economic construction determines the significance of national economy development,whose premise is that correct guidelines must be formulated and scientific policies must be adopted.In response,Deng Xiaoping made a comparatively systematic exposition and put forward a series of thoughts with guiding values.The fourth chapter is mainly about adjusting the national economy and developing foreign economic relations.The development of the national economy should be guided by policies and guidelines,besides,the economic relationships should be adjusted and improved in accordance with actual conditions.In response,Deng Xiaoping made a series of important expositions,covering adjusting the economic management system,improving the economic system as well as developing economic relationships with foreign countries.Chapter five refers to strengthening the party's leadership over economic construction,which is a crucial manifestation of the essential characteristics of socialism.Deng Xiaoping emphasized that the leadership of the party in economic construction must adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts,the mass line,as well as the integration of centralization and autonomy.The last chapter mainly studies the historical position and contemporary enlightenment of Deng Xiaoping's economic construction thought.The historical status is mainly reflected in the enrichment and development of Mao Zedong Thought.Deng Xiaoping's economic construction thought plays a vital guiding role in national economic construction.It is also a momentous precursor of Deng Xiaoping's theoretical scientific system.The contemporary enlightenment is embodied in the idea of comprehensive understanding,learning and research.This will further enhance our consciousness and initiative in implementing the strategic deployment of the socialist economy with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
