Research On Education Of Ideals And Beliefs For Leading Cadres Of CPC In The New Era

Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.In order to create a new situation in the new great project of CPC's building,the most important thing is to solve the major political problem of the ideals and beliefs of CPC's leading cadres.After the 18^th CPC National Congress,based on a deep understanding of the situation of the world,the state and the Party,the Party's central committee,with comrade Xi as the core,accurately grasped the Party's historical mission in the new era,made an important judgement that"the top priority of cadre education and training is to pay special attention to the ideal and belief education",and took a series of important measures to strengthen and improve it,which has achieved significant results.However,the current situation of the education is not optimistic yet,to some extent,there exist problems such as outdated education concept,mismatch between teaching and practice,repeated teaching methods,lack of high quality teachers and courses,insufficient and discontinuous teaching results,which does not conform to central government's requirements and cadres'expectations.Therefore,strengthening and improving ideal and belief education in the new era is a very urgent issue for CPC,and an important political,theoretical,and practical task.It is of fundamental,pioneering and strategic significance in building high-quality professional cadre team and promoting scientific Party building.With the ideal and belief education of the Party's leading cadres as research object,guided by Marxist Historical Materialism,the paper reviews and summarizes CPC's historical experiences in ideal and belief education over the past 90 years,and refines the cultural heritage of officials'cultivation of thoughts in ancient China.The paper also draws lessons from the failure of the Communist Party of Soviet Union,and learns from useful practice of public servants'values education in other countries.On the basis of statistics analysis on surveys targeting 1008 Party and government cadres from 6 provinces?cities?in east,central and west China,the paper explores the inherent laws in strengthening and improving ideal and belief education in the new era,puts forward ideas and measures to solve the problem.Therefore,the thesis is of certain academic value and practical significance in broadening research perspective of Party building theory,enriching ideological education theory,and improving scientific level of leading cadres'ideological education in the new era.This paper consists of four parts.The introduction and the first chapter make the first part,which mainly discusses the basic concepts and related theories of the ideal and belief education in the new era.The second part,including chapter 2 and 3,reviews and analyzes the historical experiences,cultural genes and international comparison of leading cadres'ideal and belief education in the new era.The paper summarizes both experiences and lessons from multiple perspectives.The fourth chapter is the third part.It analyzes the current situation of ideal and belief education by studying policies,conducting surveys and interviews.The fifth chapter is the fourth part,which puts forward the ideas and measures of strengthening and improving the ideal and belief education of leading cadres in the new era.The first chapter focusing on the core of the education of ideals and beliefs for leading cadres of CPC in the new era,fully explains a series of basic concepts,including cadres,leading cadres,leading cadres of CPC and ideal and belief education.It also reviews historical ideal and belief education theories proposed by Marx,Engels,Lenin and CPC.On this basis,the article systematically discusses the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the new situation for the education of the ideals and beliefs of CPC's leading cadres.The second chapter summarizes CPC's ideal and belief education history over the past 90years with consideration of different circumstances in different ages.It focuses on the profound heritage and tradition of philosophy,contents,methods and systems that came into shape in the longterm development.It also concludes valuable experiences for strengthening and improving leading cadres'ideal and belief education in a longterm range.The third chapter compares and draws lessons from the history and international experience of education of ideals and beliefs for leading cadres of CPC.On the one hand,the chapter explains officials'ideal education in ancient China,which emphasizes ideals of harmony and unity,prosperous age and being a sage.On this basis,the chapter analyzes its contents,methods for good experiences and inherit the genes from a critical perspective.On the other hand,the chapter draws a lesson after an in-depth reflection on the causes,process and consequences of the collapse of the ideal and belief of the members of Communist Party of Soviet Union.Meanwhile,the chapter learns from the beneficial practices of the value education of public officials in the western developed countries selectively.The fourth chapter has in-depth and systematic studies on the current situation of ideal and belief education based on the analysis of questionnaires and statistics.It tries to explore the deep-seated reasons for the existing problems in ideal and belief education.The fifth chapter proposes a series of thoughts and paths for the philosophy,contents,methods,systems and infrastructure support in ideal and belief education on the basis of the previous 5 chapters.The 19^th CPC National Congress has made clear its requirement:"strengthening ideal and belief is the primary task of the Party's ideological construction".It has put forward a historic task for our Party's ideological and political education work.Comprehensively strengthening the Party's self-descipline will always be on the road,so will be strengthening leading cadres'ideal and belief education.The paper strives to combine history with reality,combine theory with practice,and holds Marxist stand,viewpoint and method as the guiding principle of leading cadres'ideal and belief education.The paper keeps pace with the times,focuses on the problems,holds a pragmatic and rigorous attitude,and tries to provide theretical references and experiences for improving leading cadres'ideal and belief education.
