A Study On Cultivation Of Self-confidence For Young Intellectuals In The New Era

In the report to the 19 th national congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that culture is the soul of a country and a nation.If culture prospers,the nation will prosper;if culture is strong,the nation will be strong.Without a high degree of cultural confidence,no cultural prosperity,there is no great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Young intellectuals are not only the valuable talent resources of the country,the hope and future for the prosperity of the country and the nation,but also the builders and successors of the socialism career with Chinese characteristics.In the new era,the majority of young people firmly believe in the socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,especially the young intellectuals' cultural confidence plays an important role in the construction of a strong nation with socialist culture.It not only highlights the characteristics of national spirit,but also reflects the spirit of the national soul in the new era.The world today is undergoing unprecedented changes,such as the exchanges of diverse cultures and thoughts.These challenges demand determined young intellectuals and their cultural selfconfidence.Therefore,the improvement of their ideological,moral consciousness as well as theoretical knowledge;further cultivation of the determined self-confidence towards path,theory,system;reinforcement of their sense of obligations to be the young generation for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has great and far-reaching strategic significance.This dissertation explores the basic concept of culture and cultural selfconfidence as a starting point,then it clarifies the connotation and importance of cultural confidence for youth intellectuals in the new era.It also summarizes the cultural self-confidence for cultivating young intellectuals,which has the following features,such as the sharp ideological struggle in cultivating objective;profound grasp of scientific thinking pattern in cultivating content;the application of carrier power of new media network is focused on in the cultivating process;the basic characteristics of the model plays a leading role in the cultivating body of the youth.In addition,the dissertation summarizes the realistic functions for the cultivation of self-confidence towards young intellectuals in the new era,such as cohesive cultural value consensus,healthy cultural psychology and cultural consciousness,determined cultural confidence.Furthermore,the dissertation analyses some relevant theoretical foundations,including the theory of Marxist cultural construction,the theory of Chinese Communist Party's human culture and the important discussion of cultural self-confidence,the spiritual gene of Chinese excellent traditional culture and the cultural determinism of western scholars.On this basis,the dissertation makes an in-depth study on the overall cognition of Chinese cultural system,namely the value identity of Chinese cultural spirit and the basic requirement of practical practice of Chinese cultural development.Besides,the dissertation summarizes the basic principles towards the unified directions of scientificity and directionality,combination of theory with practice,mutual dependence of the dominant education and recessive education.Furthermore,the dissertation emphasizes that the cultivation of cultural self-confidence of young intellectuals in the new era should be focused on the rich nourishment of Chinese excellent traditional culture,the important support of Chinese revolutionary culture and the mighty strength of advanced socialist culture.Meanwhile,this paper expounds the “five” logical relations between cultural attitude and cultural attribution,cultural judgment and cultural choice,cultural reflection and cultural consciousness,cultural identity and cultural responsibility,cultural inheritan ce and cultural innovation.Based on the investigation of the current situation of cultural confidence cultivation,not only the positive momentum on the cultivation of cultural self-confidence for young intellectuals are noticed but also the deficiencies in the aspects of cultivating objects,cultivating contents,cultivating mode,cultivating environment towards cultural confidence for young intellectuals are perceived.At last,this dissertation analyzes the influential factors of existing problems,then puts forward the cultivating practical path for the ascension of cultural self-confidence for young intellectuals,that is the improvement of the subjective consciousness for the cultural self-confidence of young intellectuals,the reinforcement of the integral construction for the cultivating content of cultural self-confidence,the expansion of the diversified front for the cultivation of cultural self-confidence,the display of cultural charisma through the enhancement of dissemination of cultural confidence in the new era,and the optimization of cultivating environment for the cultural self-confidence of young intellectuals.
