Philosophy for children is an educational project put forward by Lippmann,who is an American educational philosopher in 1960 s.Its aim is to promote the critical thinking ability of American children.At the same time,Matthews,a philosophy of children,also published academic works.They are recognized as the founders of children and philosophy.Later,many researchers and practitioners worked in the field of children and philosophy.Relevant practices of philosophy for children have been carried out all over the world,and its influence has been increasing day by day.Since the development of philosophy for children,a wide range of discussions have been carried out in China,and various research results have taken shape.From the theoretical perspective of philosophy of education,this paper takes Philosophy for Children as the research object.The paper points out that it is necessary to further study children's philosophy.It is necessary to integrate the perspectives of philosophy and pedagogy,comprehensively explain the relationship between philosophy,education and children,so as to clarify the theoretical connotation of philosophy for children and provide reflection and mirror for the action of relevant educational practice.This paper analyses the theoretical and practical origins of philosophy for children,and demonstrates the ontological connotation of children's philosophy.Lipman and Matthews,as the founders of children for philosophy,believe that children's curiosity and surprise have similarities,and children can think about philosophical issues.Philosophy originates from people's surprise to the world.It is the impulse to seek knowledge in nature that prompts people to think about things and themselves,thus triggering philosophical metaphysical speculation.Children's thinking retains more philosophical connotations in their nature.They like to ask questions and explore.Children are wise people.Children for philosophy is a language-based educational project,which helps to cultivate children's critical thinking ability,reflect on children's education and children's life through philosophical dialogue with children,and then reconstruct our views on children and education.This paper holds that due to the influence of scientism,there exists instrumental orientation in the practice of cultivating thinking ability,which leads to the dilemma of "one-way" and the "waste" of children's time.Therefore,the way out of philosophy for children should abandon the excessive instrumental orientation and reconstruct it from the perspective of life philosophy.The philosophical endowment of "love wisdom" shown inchildren's daily life is not only the congenital fine quality of children,but also the most precious intellectual wealth of human groups.Children's philosophy should protect children's philosophical talent,stimulate children's philosophical thinking,overcome instrumentalism orientation,and pay attention to children's real life and real life.This study reflects on the practice of philosophy for children from the perspective of post-philosophy,and puts forward that the philosophy of philosophy for children should be the theoretical basis,break the shackles of instrumental rationality,get rid of external control thinking,and lead children to think freely and experience meaning and value.Adults should not regard children as "objects" to control,over-regulate them,let them grow up healthily in a respectable environment,break out of the "one-way" predicament,and then develop in harmony and freedom.In modern society,philosophy for children is based on philosophy.It clarifies the metaphysical theoretical connotation of children's educational life by using philosophical methods.The purpose of philosophy for children is not only to improve children's thinking mode,but also to pay attention to children's life,focus on children's all-round development and return to education itself.The practice of philosophy for children should step on the practical step that conforms to the principle of children's life,return to the fundamental object of human education and cultivate independent personality.It is necessary for us to explain children's time,respect children's space and truly practice children's philosophical practice from the standpoint of children.The practice of children's philosophy should take care of the free growth of this life body,take care of its flexible human nature,take children as the foundation,respect their destiny mechanism,and educate them in accordance with their own growth and development laws.
