In the decades of standardized construction of ideological and political theory courses after the founding of the PRC,research on the microcosmic and concrete aspects of the teaching of ideological and political theory courses has been fruitful and helpful to its teaching subject,teaching purpose,teaching content,and teaching methods.The educators and participants in the ideological and political theory course should have a certain degree of academic rationality in the laws and processes the relevant teaching activities.However,with the refinement of social division of labor,the expansion of social space,the advancement of information technology,and the complication and diversification of communication relationships,only micro-level research has been insufficient to meet and respond to the teaching requirements and the disciplinary development of ideological and political theory requires a more integrated and socialized macro-control of the teaching of ideological and political theory.In order to conduct a holistic and social research on the teaching of ideological and political theory,space is an indispensable element of its research whether it is theoretical choice or practical orientation.In the new era,from the perspective of spatialization to conduct ideological and political theory teaching research,the spatial patterns to be grasped must be more diversified and multidimensional.In addition to the traditional classroom space,subject,real,virtual,institutional,noninstitutional and other spatial forms are also the meaning of the problem.The spatial research perspective is facing unprecedented complexity and challenge,but also highlights its objectivity and necessity.The teaching research of the ideological and political theory course is a brand new proposition at present.It needs to draw on relevant Chinese and Western spatial thought resources,and draw on philosophy,sociology,pedagogy,cultural studies,history,geography,ecology,and communication.Beneficial ideological ideas in the subject area,constructing a unique research system and space framework,and providing academic support for the establishment of the teaching space concept of it.This dissertation mainly explores and researches from the aspects of the nature and characteristics,structure and function,evolution history,realistic situation and optimization and expansion.The main content is divided into six parts except for the introduction chapter as follow:Firstly,summarizes the theoretical basis and ideological resources of the teaching space research.Ancient Chinese ancestors already had certain spatial thoughts and concepts in their production and life long ago.The concept of time-of-view,pole mapping,law management,mountain worship,and respect for heaven all include ancient Chinese ancestors.The people’s awareness of space,while applying spatial thought to the layout and planning of the urban space,settlement space,and space.The Western world also has different cognitions of space in different subject areas,including such subject areas as philosophy,mathematics,physics,economics,sociology,and aesthetics.Lefebvre,Harvey,Suja,Foucault as the Western scholars they represent also have their own unique cognition and application in terms of spatial construction.It is true that Marx and Engels’ space thought also provides rich theoretical resources in terms of space freedom,space change,space production,space difference,development and justice.Secondly,explains the essence and characteristics of the teaching space of ideological and political theory.The basic meaning and interpretation of the concept as well as the analysis of its connotation are the basic prerequisites for this research.Then the analysis of the formation and the basic characteristics is to further clarify and grasp its concept.Differentiate and analyze the teaching space from the higher-level conceptual teaching space and the teaching environment of the similar conceptual ideological and political theory course,so as to make the propositions really stable.Thirdly,discusses the structure,mode and function.Firstly,it analyzes the structural elements of the teaching space of ideological and political theory courses,including the four major elements of subject,content,method,and carrier.Based on this,four basic models of corresponding teaching space of ideological and political theory courses are created.According to different structures,Mode and mutual relations to assign corresponding spatial functions.Fourthly,summarizes the historical evolution,type division and basic mechanism.Throughout the history of the evolution of the teaching space,it has experienced four stages: the beginning of space,the adjustment of space exploration,the construction of space norms,and the development of space breakthroughs.For the analysis and exploration of different stages of space-time development,six kind of space forms could be classified according to different criteria.Besides,the summary and extraction can also lead in the conclusion of four basic mechanisms,including subject,content,method and carrier models,all of which are the internal driving forces for the optimization of the whole teaching space system.Fifthly,targeted analysis and research on the actual situation of the teaching space.The relevant questionnaire survey was conducted on the universities in Chengdu,and the survey scope involved six major subsystems of the teaching space,which are classroom and subject spaces,real and virtual spaces,institutional and noninstitutional spaces.The interpretation of advantages and analysis of dilemmas provide a realistic reference basis for the optimization of the teaching space hereafter.Lastly,the optimization and expansion of the teaching space.The system focuses on consolidating the classroom space of ideological and political theory courses,expanding the subject space of ideological and political theory courses,deepening the practical space,guiding the virtual space,improving the institutional space,and constructing the noninstitutional space,which optimizes and expands the teaching space of the entire ideological and political theory course in all areas.As an exploratory study of the teaching space of the ideological and political theory course,this dissertation attempts to put forward the basic and essential concept,and on this basis,proposes a new research framework for the teaching space,with a view to teaching it Research provides a new perspective to stimulate the endogenous motivation of ideological and political theory education and teaching in the new era.
